South Carolina’s senior U.S. Senator Lindsay Graham not only tweeted support for Cheney Jr. but also warned the Trump impeachment defense team that the establishment would support convicting Trump if a questionable Nov. 3 vote was brought up, according to a Tuesday, Feb. 2, report from the American Conservative Media Gateway Pundit.
Graham finally showed his true colors by trying to intimidate Trump after he browbeat him into helping him win his Senate seat, while supporting Cheney Jr.’s vote to impeach the most popular president in U.S. history. A friend like Graham is surely something no one wants because he will stab you while showing you a smiley face.
Cheney Jr. recently voted for the impeachment of President Trump, and most Americans who voted for Trump are strongly opposed to Cheney Jr.’s move. Earlier Tuesday, however, Senator Graham tweeted his support for war monger Cheney Jr.
In the tweet, Graham said, “Cheney Jr. is is one of the strongest, most reliable conservative voices in the Republican Party. She is conservative on both fiscal and social policy and has worked no harder than she has in making sure our troops are fully prepared.”
Graham next said, “Cheney Jr. knows that a strong America is a safe America.”
He concluded by adding, “To many people Cheney Jr.’s experience, leadership and strength are priceless to the Republican Party.”
Graham, his good friend in the Senate Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and Cheney Jr. are all members of the Republican establishment who do not represent the American people or Trump. These politicians believe that without President Trump, the American people will still vote for them.
Graham’s charade is not over yet, as he next began threatening Trump to keep Trump’s defense team from talking about the issues in the 2020 presidential vote during the trial. Americans know the vote is a big joke, but Washington politicians don’t think so.
Andrew Desiderio, a Capitol Hill correspondent for Politico, tweeted, “Graham told me that if Trump’s legal team wants to “prove” Georgia in the impeachment trial/ Pennsylvania/Wisconsin votes were stolen, then Trump loses everyone and most of us dump him.
If this is true, then Graham really needs to do some soul searching (deep introspection) and the Republican Party may be digging its own grave. Someone does need to tell Graham just how many votes (84 million) did President Trump win in the election? How many people across America thought the vote was questionable (39%)? Everyone who voted for Trump didn’t believe Trump lost to Biden, only Graham, Cheney, McConnell, the Democrats, the mainstream media and the tech oligarchs, who believed Trump lost to Biden.
This piece by the American Conservative Media Gateway Pundit concludes with the comment that Graham is a real politician and like most other politicians in Washington, D.C., no one believes them.
