Elon Musk, known for his “brainstorming”, revealed that a monkey was implanted with a microchip by one of his startups, and then played video games with its own mind. He also claims that anyone with a broken spine can be fixed with their chip…
Elon Musk revealed that one of his startups has managed to get a monkey to play video games with its own mind, thanks to a chip implanted in the monkey’s brain, Newsmax News reported on Feb. 1. According to the BBC, Musk’s “Neuralink” (Neuralink) company uses tiny probes with electrodes connected to tiny flexible wires to monitor the activity of thousands of brain neurons. The technology has been used on a monkey. Musk said the monkey successfully used its brain to control a computer.
According to Bloomberg, Musk said in the private social application house club (Clubhouse): “We have a monkey who has a wireless implant in his skull with tiny wires, and this monkey can play video games with his own mind. You can’t see where the implant is. He is a “happy monkey”.
Musk also said, “If you know someone who has a broken neck, a broken spine, we can use the chip to solve the problem.”
Musk is also the founder of Paypal, an online payment system, tesla, an electric car, and SpaceX, a space company. He also announced yesterday that his SpaceX plans to send several tourists to space for the first Time in the fourth quarter of this year, 2021.
