New Times: Biden to sign 3 immigration-related executive orders

The New York Times reports that administration officials say President Biden will sign three immigration-related executive orders on the 2nd, overturning regulations from former President Trump‘s presidency, including “zero tolerance” (zero tolerance) measures for breaking up undocumented immigrant families at the U.S.-Mexico border.

The report pointed out that in one of the executive orders, Biden will instruct the Secretary of Homeland Security to lead a task force to reunite hundreds of undocumented immigrant families who were separated during Trump’s tenure.
