The Countryfile reports that the Burmese leader ousted by the military had close ties to Clinton and Soros.
Globalist liberal Aung San Suu Kyi is a close ally of Democratic Party bigwigs, the report said.
State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi, who was ousted by the military on Monday, has close ties to both Hillary Clinton and George Soros, the Countryfile said.
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton forged closer ties with Aung San Suu Kyi after the two liberal female politicians met for the first Time in 2011, starting a “strategic partnership” as soon as they met.
“After so many years of reading and thinking about this prominent Burmese dissident, we finally came face-to-face,” Clinton wrote in “Hard Choices,” an account of her time as secretary of state.” I feel like we’ve known each other forever, even though we’ve only just met …… Soon we were talking, strategizing and laughing like old friends.”
Clinton suggested that Aung San Suu Kyi run for a parliamentary seat in Myanmar’s 2012 election, which she eventually did, launching the latter’s official political career in the country.
The admiration between the two liberals is a two-way street. Aung San Suu Kyi heaped praise on Clinton.
Aung San Suu Kyi also received strong support from then-President Barack Obama, who often advocated her release from house arrest. In the 1990s and 2000s, Aung San Suu Kyi was repeatedly arrested for “subversive acts” for her involvement in riots against the Burmese government.
In 2012, Obama presented her with the U.S. Congressional Gold Medal, which she called “one of the most moving days of my Life.
Ultimately, the Obama administration contributed to Aung San Suu Kyi’s rise in 2015 by imposing sanctions on Myanmar and insisting that they be lifted only if she played a political role in the country.
Another key ally of Aung San Suu Kyi’s is billionaire George Soros and his global network of NGOs, which strongly support her activities.
“Throughout my involvement in Burma, I have been and continue to be guided by her vision,” Soros said after meeting with her in 2012.
Soros’ Open Society Foundation (OSF) has had a “Burma Project” since 1994 and has been working for years to undermine the Burmese government. According to Myanmar’s Eleven Media, more than 100 NGOs active in the country have received funding from Soros.
“George Soros, 89, who has also been criticized for manipulating Burmese politics, has supported more than 100 organizations through the Open Society Foundation (OSF), as stated on the foundation’s website.

The Open Society Foundations also says that the Fortify Right group, a group that fights for the rights of Bangladeshis on behalf of human rights, has also received funding from it.”
The leader of the liberal National League for Democracy (NLD) party, State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi, has assumed the role of de facto national leader despite being constitutionally ineligible to do so. She rules through her proxy, the official national leader, President Myint Winte. The arrangement bears some resemblance to the relationship between U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris and President Joe Biden. On Monday morning, both Aung San Suu Kyi and President Min Win Thet were arrested by the military.
