The Australian government plans to legislate to force the U.S. Google, Facebook (Fb) and other social media to pay for the reproduction of news content, Google earlier threatened to stop providing search engine services to the local. Australian Prime Minister Morrison said on Monday (1), the United States Microsoft Corporation is confident that it can fill the gap after Google’s withdrawal from the Australian market.
