In comprehensive news, according to a notification from China’s National health and Wellness Commission on Jan. 31, between 0:00 and 24:00 on Jan. 30, there were 73 new confirmed cases of new crown in mainland China, including 63 cases in Jilin, 9 cases in Heilongjiang and 1 case in Hebei. But in addition, there are still 910 cases of asymptomatic infected people under medical observation.
Meanwhile, Hong Kong announced on Jan. 31 that 53 cases were confirmed that day, including 44 cases in the mainland and 17 cases of unknown origin.
But on the other side, according to multiple media sources in Hong Kong, a web-based questionnaire released by the Hong Kong Society of Hospital Pharmacists and the Hong Kong Medical and Nursing Union on Jan. 31 showed that only 31 percent of people said they would be willing to receive the new crown vaccine, while 33 percent said they would not be vaccinated. Eighty-four percent of those who refused to be vaccinated were concerned about the side effects and safety of the vaccine, while 83% thought the vaccine was launched too hastily and questioned its efficacy.
