U.S. Congressman infected even after attending Biden’s inauguration

According to Fox News, Democratic Massachusetts Congressman Stephen Lynch was diagnosed with Wuhan pneumonia (Chinese Communist Virus, New Crown Pneumonia, COVID-19) on Friday (29th) after attending the inauguration of the new U.S. President Joe Biden, but he had already received two doses of Pfizer vaccine and was tested negative before attending the ceremony. The results were negative, but unexpectedly he was still infected with Wuhan pneumonia.

Earlier, one of Lynch’s employees in the Boston office was diagnosed first, and then he also went to the test again, the results of this screening test was positive, Lynch’s director of communications (Molly Rose Tarpey) said in an interview with FOSS on Saturday (30) that Lynch is asymptomatic infection, in good condition, and is still in Home isolation.

Lynch is the second congressman to be diagnosed this week after repeated tests, and another Democratic congresswoman, Lori Trahan, was diagnosed on Thursday (28) after multiple tests were negative. The CDC has stated that it takes several weeks for the body to build up immunity after vaccination, meaning that it is still possible to contract the disease after a vaccination.
