Will the first phase of the U.S.-China trade agreement be voided? The White House takes a stand as the Chinese Communist Party buys big bucks of U.S. corn.
The U.S. mainstream media reports that Trump‘s popularity has increased since he left office.
26 Republican senators demand to see Biden.
Hopes dashed? Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) officials have said that the two bombs found at the offices of the Republican and Democratic National Committees on the day of the congressional incident were actually planted the night before, and that the Democrats had been hoping to qualify the incident as “domestic terrorist activity.
Freshman Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Texas) said Saturday that America’s internal enemy is socialism and vowed to fight to the bitter end.
White House says it will review U.S.-China trade deal as Communist China buys big chunk of U.S. corn
On Friday (29), White House spokesman Jen Psaki said the Biden Administration will review all national security measures of former President Donald Trump (Trump), including the first phase of the U.S.-China trade agreement signed in January 2020. On the same day the U.S. Department of Agriculture announced that the Chinese Communist Party had made its largest purchase of U.S. corn to date.

During a White House press briefing on Friday, a reporter asked President Biden if he thought the first phase of the U.S.-China trade deal was still in effect. Psaki said, “All of the initiatives that were put in place by the last administration are under review as it relates to our national security measures, so I wouldn’t assume that things are going to move forward.”
Psaki added that the Biden Administration is focused on “taking a strong position on the U.S.-China relationship, which means coordinating and communicating with our allies and partners on how to work with China.”
Jake Sullivan, the Biden administration’s national security adviser, also said the same day that the U.S. alliance system is the cornerstone of America’s future geopolitical success. To defeat the “Chinese (Communist) model,” he said, the United States must also join forces with allies and partners in democratic countries.
On Jan. 15, 2020, then-President Trump and Chinese Vice Premier Liu He signed the first phase of the trade agreement at the White House. In that agreement, the Chinese Communist Party pledged to purchase large quantities of U.S. goods and services. However, a report released this month by Chad Bown, a trade policy expert at the Peterson Institute for International Economics, shows that the size of the Chinese Communist Party’s purchases of U.S. goods in 2020 is 42 percent less than the amount it promised in the trade deal.
Separately, Reuters reported that the U.S. Department of Agriculture said on Friday that the Chinese Communist Party had purchased the largest amount of U.S. corn to date, as much as 2.108 million tons, to meet a surge in demand for animal feed.
In July 2020, the Chinese Communist Party purchased 1.937 million tons of U.S. corn. Three months later, Reuters quoted sources as saying that the Chinese Communist government had been seeking to increase corn imports in response to tight domestic supplies caused by flooding and dry weather.
U.S. Mainstream Media Rarely Reports Trump’s Popularity Has Increased Since Leaving Office
Former President Donald Trump has actually gained more popularity than he has lost political influence since leaving office, a senior reporter for Politico said.
This is the first rare admission by a mainstream journalist that the assumptions of the American civil society and the Washington, D.C., establishment, as well as many in the mainstream media, are very different.
“People don’t want to hear anything against Trump,” Politico reporter Tara Palmeri told MSNBC on Friday (Jan. 29). In fact, the more he stays away from the media, the more he becomes like a martyr, a stealth figure above the Republican Party.”
Palmieri said that according to her observations, there is now a movement on behalf of former President Trump in states such as Wyoming, where Trump is “more popular” than the state’s top congressional Republican, U.S. Rep. Liz Cheney (D-Calif.).
Palmieri came to that conclusion after going to the area to chat with people about Cheney’s vote to impeach Trump and to get a closer look at Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz’s (R) local challenge to Cheney’s rally on Thursday (28).
Palmieri said the “overwhelming” consensus she heard from voters was that Cheney’s move to vote for impeachment “does not represent Wyoming” and “therefore she must step down.
What is considered “the truth” in Washington is not accepted in Cheyenne, Wyoming’s capital, she said. Palmieri said locals believe the 2020 presidential election is illegitimate and that the Jan. 6 riots at the Capitol were “the work of Antifa.
She described Wyoming as a different world. “I don’t think we can ignore it, and I’m glad I went there and saw it, because I think there’s a huge disconnect between Washington and the rest of the state.”
She added: “A lot of local people say they’re not really Republicans, like they say they support Trump. I think (Trump’s) base is getting bigger and bigger. I think impeachment (of a conviction) would give him more credibility.”
Cheney is the highest-ranking of the 10 Republicans who voted to impeach Trump on the 13th, and she is the No. 3 Republican.
Republican voters are unhappy with the rushed, Democratic-led impeachment, which they believe was launched against Trump without due process – no formal hearings, no evidence, no witnesses, no cross-examination – while voters feel betrayed by Cheney’s actions.
Cheney’s district, Carbone County, Wyoming (Carbon County) Republican Central Committee unanimously passed a resolution censuring Cheney on the 16th.
26 Republican senators demand to see Biden for this matter
More than two dozen Republican senators requested a meeting with President Biden to discuss the new administration’s recent executive orders and regulatory actions, policies they fear could have a devastating impact on American families working in the energy industry.
In a letter to Biden, the 26 senators wrote that they were “surprised” by the president’s actions, which could put “hundreds of thousands” of energy jobs in their states at risk, and that most of the senators, who are from states with high levels of economic growth and job creation, were “surprised” by the president’s actions. Most of these senators come from states that are highly dependent on the oil and gas industry for economic growth and jobs.
Your actions will have serious consequences for our constituents,” the letter reads, “by taking these actions in the first week of your presidency without listening to us, the hard-working Americans we represent, actions that run counter to the aspirations of the American people who want practical, bipartisan solutions to our nation’s challenges. Policies that support working families are desired.”
Senators, including Senate Energy Committee Chairwoman Lisa Murkowski (D-CA), specifically took issue with the cancellation of the $8 billion Keystone XL pipeline project.
Senators also objected to a moratorium on oil and gas drilling in Alaska’s Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR), one of Biden’s first actions as president.
“At your inauguration, you pledged to represent all Americans, including those who live in our states,” the letter continues, “and the best path to true unity is to work together to find solutions for each other’s environments. We stand ready to work with you and your nominees to address the challenges facing our nation, including working for a cleaner future and protecting our hard-working men and women.”
3 Weeks Late, FBI: Bipartisan National Committee Bomb Was Placed Night Before Congressional Event
U.S. Democrats are trying to characterize the Jan. 6 storming of Congress as a “domestic terrorist activity. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) officials have said that the two bombs found in the offices of the Republican and Democratic National Committees on the day of the congressional incident were actually placed the night before.
According to the Associated Press on Friday (29), the FBI said that day, the investigation found new information, the explosive devices were placed between 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. on January 5, the day before the riots at the Capitol, although they were not discovered until the next day.
The first bomb was found at the offices of the Republican National Committee at about 12:45 p.m. on the 6th, and the second was found at the Democratic National Committee about 30 minutes later. Both parties’ national committees are located a few blocks from the Capitol.
Officials told The Associated Press that the two bombs were made using a similar method, each about a foot long and with wiring that appeared to be connected to a timer. Each bomb contained a powder and some metal, and the composition of the bombs is still under investigation.
Jack Posobiec, a reporter for the conservative media outlet One America News Network (OANN), tweeted to ask why the FBI didn’t show when the bombs were planted when the videos looked like nighttime.

There is no evidence yet to link the bombs to the riots at the Capitol. More than 20 days after the incident there is still no sign of the suspect, and officials in charge of the FBI’s Washington office say finding the suspect is the bureau’s top priority.
Rep. Greene gets call from Trump, vows to fight back against leftist smear campaign
Republican U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia tweeted Saturday (Jan. 30) (see here) that she just ended a call with former President Trump (R-Texas) while saying that America’s internal enemy is socialism.

Greene sent out a series of tweets Saturday morning that, in addition to mentioning her gratitude for Trump’s support, also publicly responded to the recent strife between her and Democratic House members, saying she would not back down.
Greene wrote, “I had a great call with my all-time favorite president, Trump!” “I am so grateful for his support and more importantly, the people of this country are absolutely 100% loyal to him because he is 100% loyal to the people and America First.”
Greene added, “You will never be able to defeat him because we the people stand behind him.”
She criticized that the media and America-hating socialists attack her the same way they always attacked former President Trump.
Greene added, “I can assure you, I will not back down. I will never apologize. And I will always fight for the people. For me, it’s America first!”
House Speaker Pelosi publicly stated on Jan. 28 that members of Congress need more security funding because “the enemy is coming from within the House of Representatives.”
When asked what she meant by “the enemy is coming from inside the House,” she replied, “There are members of Congress who want to carry guns into the chamber and make threats of violence against other members.”
Green appeared to be replying to Pelosi’s criticism in her Saturday tweet.
She referred to the divisive reality of American society and said that the enemy within the United States is socialism.
Greene wrote, “In these divisive times, true leaders must have the resolve and strength to stand up to fanatical thugs – who target weaknesses and destroy our country to get what they want.”
“Yes, there is an enemy within (the United States).” “This enemy is the poisonous corruption of socialist policy, the traitors of America’s padded (policies) who are pompous hypocrites but consider themselves the untouchable elite.”
Greene criticized these people for condoning the destructive blockade policy, but not applying the rules themselves.
“They promote, support, cheer, and fund the deadly and violent ‘Antifa’ or BLM (Black Lives Matter Too) riots, which burn cities, attack police, harm innocent people, and terrorize Americans.” Greene wrote.
“I and all Republicans have condemned the attack on the Capitol and we were victims of it, but our Democratic colleagues have tried to lie and place blame on us – yet we had nothing to do with the violence and have been condemning it. “
