On Friday, January 29, the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement was nominated for the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize in a highly controversial announcement.
According to Breitbart News, Petter Eide, a member of the Norwegian Parliament, made the nomination, arguing that BLM is “a very important global movement. He added, “Studies show that most demonstrations by Black Lives Matter are peaceful.”
Sources said a study by the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project looked at 7,750 “Black Lives Matter” protests over a four-month period in 2020. A study by the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project looked at 7,750 “Black Lives Matter” protests since April 2020, claiming that 93 percent of the protests were peaceful. But the results were the exact opposite of the Princeton University study. Photographs and videos taken by American journalists also show very different conclusions.
In September 2020, Princeton University released data showing that riots related to “black lives matter” in 48 of the 50 largest cities in the United States. Many violent incidents involving Black Lives Matter occurred in multiple locations, and innocent civilians and members of Congress were brutally tortured by radicals within Black Lives Matter.
In August 2020, Black Lives Matter activists harassed diners sitting on the terrace of a Mexican restaurant and reportedly asked them to raise their fists. Black Lives Matter activists also surrounded Paul and several women on the streets of Washington, D.C., for several minutes as Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and his group were leaving the White House after attending the Republican National Convention.
The Nobel Committee, based in Norway, is expected to choose the winner of the Nobel Peace Prize this November.
