In a statement released Friday afternoon, Cross and Stoltz declared, “Former President Trump, as our 45th president of the United States, has had a remarkable record of achievement against great odds and has brought our nation to unparalleled prosperity.

The statement added, “This legislation will help ensure that one day a year, the voices of millions of Ohioans from every corner of our state will be honored.”
Cross and Stoltz are currently seeking co-sponsors of the legislation in the Ohio House of Representatives.
Earlier this month, President Trump announced the creation of an “Office of the Former President” that will continue the Trump administration’s agenda.
