The Chinese Communist Party is setting up the world’s largest DNA database. The CCP is attempting to combine individual DNA information with real-Time surveillance tools to create a pervasive digital centralized state.
U.S. media reported on Jan. 28 that China’s UW Genetics proposed to establish COVID-19 testing laboratories in multiple U.S. states in the early stages of the outbreak. U.S. intelligence officials warned that the move by UW Genetics could be an attempt by Beijing to collect DNA from U.S. citizens.
CBS’s “60 Minutes” learned that after the Chinese Communist virus (New Coronavirus) began spreading in the U.S., UW Genetics made the same offer to at least five U.S. states to establish and operate virus testing labs, according to BGI Group, which is known as the world’s largest biotech company. These states include Washington, New York and California, among others.
The proposal raised suspicions and led Bill Evanina, then director of the National Counterintelligence and Security Center, to issue a rare public warning to the states to oppose it. His statement declared, “Foreign countries can collect, store and use biometric information from COVID testing.
He argued that the Chinese (CCP) are working to collect American DNA to win the race to control the world’s biological data. He said the BGI group has close ties to the Chinese Communist military and the ruling Communist Party, which poses a threat to U.S. national security.

He told “60 Minutes” that biological data could determine access to health care and provide clues to current or future prevalent medical problems, thus allowing entities to have a monopoly on therapies or drugs necessary to treat them.
Evanina said, “This shows the evil mind of the Chinese Communist Party to exploit a global crisis like COVID.”
“We are advising not only every American, but hospitals, associations and clinics.” He said, “Knowing that UWM is a Chinese company, do we know where this data is going?”
Evanina said he believes China (the Chinese Communist Party) is taking aggressive action to control what most people don’t currently value.
Full reliance on Chinese PPE is very dangerous
While the U.S. intelligence community blocked states from accepting the UWM offer, Evanina warned that Chinese companies have been investing in U.S. biotech companies for years. Before the pandemic began, BGI had already established partnerships with U.S. hospitals.
Edward You, a former biochemist and FBI supervisory special agent, told CBS that the U.S. relies on China to provide personal protective equipment to fight pandemics. He warned, “What would happen if we realized that all of our future drugs, our future vaccines …… are completely dependent on foreign countries? If we don’t wake up, we’ll realize that one day we’ve become health care addicts and people like China (Communist Party of China) have become our enablers.”
Evanina said, “Do we want to do this in terms of the long-term cost to our country’s survival? Do we want another national system to eliminate our health care services?”
“This is about your past, your future and the future of your children.” Evanina told “60 Minutes,” “It’s very dangerous, and I think the unknown is probably the most dangerous part.”
For its part, UWM denies any motive for the allegations. In a statement, the company said, “Claims that the genomic data of U.S. citizens would in any event be compromised by BGI’s activities in the United States are unfounded.”
“The Chinese Communist Party has sinister intentions in collecting global DNA.”
The Chinese Communist Party’s attempt to collect DNA from people around the world, including Americans, is not an empty claim. In a December 5, 2020 Fox News interview, China expert Zhang Jiadun mentioned that the CCP now has the world’s largest DNA database, and it is growing.
He said this is part of the Chinese Communist Party’s plan to achieve “Made in China 2025” – an attempt to dominate the world’s biotechnology industry. He added that this theory is supported by the fact that the Chinese Communist Party collects DNA from foreigners while prohibiting researchers from other countries from studying Chinese DNA.
The CCP collects DNA from its own citizens for law enforcement, tracking dissidents, etc., to facilitate its tighter control and surveillance of all its nationals.
So how does the CCP obtain foreigners’ DNA? Zhang Jiadun reveals that they “buy U.S. companies that have DNA profiles, provide DNA analysis studies for genetic companies, and through hacking.” For example, in 2015 the Chinese Communist Party hacked Anthem, the second largest insurance company in the United States.
Now, he said, the Chinese Communist Party is using the ravages of the Communist virus to expand its DNA database, which requires internationally recognized QR codes from international travelers and access to foreigners’ genes through vaccine diplomacy.
Zhang warned that the Chinese Communist Party is using the vaccine as leverage to get foreign populations to complete relevant tests while collecting sensitive information; “They [the Chinese Communist Party] will say, ‘We’ll give you this vaccine, but we need to complete our tests, so we’re going to use your population as a test subject.’ “
On Dec. 6, 2020, John Ratcliffe, then director of national intelligence, said intelligence showed that the Chinese Communist Party was using “gene editing” to strengthen its military in an attempt to dominate the world. He warned that values such as individual freedom would be at risk if the Chinese Communist Party were allowed to succeed.
“It (the Communist Party) is changing DNA, and that’s one of the things that our intelligence shows that China (the Communist Party) is doing. …… The People’s Republic of China (CCP) has 2 million military personnel, and it’s trying to make its military stronger through gene editing.” Ratcliffe said.
