The 2020 U.S. election is a litmus test of morality and hearts and minds. Everyone faces a choice.
Why are the candidates fighting? Who do voters vote for? Is the media reporting it as it is or is it a cover-up? Social media companies let go or block messages? Which side do the leaders endorse? Would an experienced cheater dare to “blow the whistle” and testify? Do victims of fraud give up or fight? What should we believe and what should we question when good meets evil?
When discussing this election, no one should lose sight of three facts.
First, there is overwhelming evidence and testimony that fraud and abuse did occur, in multiple states, multiple precincts, and involving at least hundreds of thousands of ballots. This has seriously compromised the fairness and effectiveness of this election, and the voting rights of voters at large have been compromised or threatened.
On Nov. 6, Federal Election Commission Chairman Trey Trainor said externally that he is convinced that election fraud is occurring in the states where votes are still being counted. He said that if the law is not followed, then the election is “illegal”.
Secondly, Georgia has now announced that it will recount the votes. In several key states, in response to the fraud and confusion over the vote count, the Trump team will launch multiple lawsuits that will also call for recounts. Thus, until the recount is complete, and until all legal actions are pending, no one has the authority to decide the winner or loser.
Third, the scandal involving Democratic candidate Biden and his son Hunter’s collusion with the Chinese Communist Party has implications for U.S. national security, political corruption and personal integrity, and Biden’s claim that he never discussed his overseas dealings with Hunter has been proven to be a lie.
In the light of this, many have asked: why did several American media outlets rush to announce Biden’s election? Why did Twitter put “controversial” under President Trump’s tweets about the election, but let “Biden wins” go? And why were the leaders of many countries quick to congratulate Biden and He Jinli – two people who are not yet legally recognized and who are suspected of fraud?
Many media outlets are trying to create a fait accompli for Biden’s “election” in order to force Trump and his supporters to retreat.
So why did foreign leaders choose Biden over Trump? First, they were deceived by the media and did not understand the situation; second, they had expectations of Biden, hoping to establish bilateral relations more conducive to their own interests; third, they know that Trump is a man of integrity, for the country and the people, and will not seek revenge if Trump turns the tables later.
However, politicians may have realized that such “diplomatic demeanor”, the wind at the helm, is likely to strengthen the momentum of the left, to help confuse the public. Furthermore, does this represent an endorsement of fraud, and how will they face the hundreds of millions of American voters who cast their legitimate ballots?
Many netizens were critical of the leaders who congratulated Biden, pointing in particular to Israeli Prime Minister and Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen. The reason is simple: over the past nearly four years, the Trump administration has given tremendous support to Israel and Taiwan, and has made significant contributions to creating a new peace in the Middle East, enhancing Taiwan’s international status, and maintaining peace in the Taiwan Strait and Taiwan’s democracy.
However, it is disappointing that they sided with Biden when President Kawakami was attacked in a despicable coup and when Biden did not win the election.
Not everyone, however, was eager to align themselves with Biden. Russia and Brazil have been silent. Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Jansa tweeted a few days ago, mocking the fact that most of the U.S. media were unified in their claims of a Biden victory. Janez Jansa wrote: “It’s interesting. Election lawsuits are filed in the states, court decisions are pending, but the mainstream US media (non-government media) preempted the announcement of the win and blessings are pouring in from all sides. It’s a society governed by the rule of law.”
On Nov. 7, Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador said at a press conference, “Regarding the U.S. election, we will wait until all legal issues are resolved. I cannot congratulate one candidate or the other. I have to wait until the election process is over.” He added that “President Trump has been very respectful of us” and that “we have to respect the self-determination and rights of the (American) people.”
The Slovenian and Mexican leaders were applauded for their stance, which was described as “respectable.” Those who embraced Biden went too far too fast.
Here’s a look at how the U.S. media fared.Early on November 7, nearly every major U.S. news outlet predicted Biden’s election as president, and the news was carried around by the foreign press.
Prior to that, on November 6, the English-language Chronicle editorial board issued a statement on the U.S. election, noting that both presidential candidates had claimed victory in certain states, but that it had become increasingly likely that the outcome of the election would ultimately be decided by the courts. Until all results are proven and any legal challenges are resolved, the Epoch will not declare who the winner of the 2020 presidential election is.
A translation of this statement was published on the Chinese Epoch website on November 8, as well as on the official Twitter account.
Netizens praised Epoch for maintaining its style, and the following is an excerpt from the message: “This is the truly responsible media.” “This is the style the media should have! Trustworthy!” “This election, at a time when all the media is in professional ruin, we are very touched by the justice of the Epoch! It’s also very inspiring!” “The Epoch Department of Media is standing firm and not trending, and this time it’s impressive and the quality of the show is getting better and better.”
On November 7, Newsmax TV, a conservative media outlet, released a statement on their website informing viewers that they would not be declaring Joe Biden the winner at this time. The statement said, “The election remains hard to win. President Trump continues to challenge the (election) results in several states.” “All votes should be counted. In this case, the media should not decide who is the winner.” Newsmax TV was praised for this: “Bravo!”
One blogger said it well, if you believe the leftist media, you lose, President Trump didn’t lose.
