As I predicted in November, Trump didn’t flip and Biden sailed into the White House. This obviously disappointed many conservatives: How could this be the result of an election that was clearly cheated? Some are even more disappointed with the democratic system, saying that Biden’s ascension to the throne is the pill of democracy (in Mandarin, “to end”), or at least that democracy is not much better than dictatorship. The Chinese Communist regime has turned on its propaganda machine and has done everything possible to denigrate the United States and the democratic system.
First of all, we should know that democracy is not perfect, and it is impossible for human beings to build a perfect system because of the limitations of human nature. The most important reason why we love democracy is that such a system enables politicians not to dare to oppress the people from on high. As long as they need the votes, they must honestly be the people’s slaves. This is what Bush Jr. calls “keeping power in a cage”. But will the elected president meet everyone’s psychological expectations? Of course not. So, while we are running hard for Trump, the left, which has a different policy philosophy than ours, is also working hard for their presidential candidate. And right now in America, the disparity and polarization between rich and poor has caused the country to tear apart. Frankly, the United States is unlikely to regain its former glory without splitting into two countries.
The 30 years after the end of the Cold War were probably the most glorious 30 years in the history of human civilization. From today onward, human civilization will inevitably fall, and there will even be a period of darkness. On the surface, it is the result of the tear of this election, but the deeper reason is the result of the overall quality of human beings. Washington once said that character or morality is the necessary source of democratic politics. In the United States before the end of the Cold War, the Protestant Christian population was the vast majority. Looking at thousands of years of human history, Protestant Christianity is the mother of modern Western civilization, producing a population with high moral and political quality. It is not that American history has not had its share of major election controversies, but they have all been peacefully defused in the high quality human environment of the past.
The system cannot function without people
But this Time, the low quality of the American crowd has been seen from the smash-and-grab by the Black Lives Matter noble before the election. It is not that there is something wrong with protesting, but that the protesting Black Lives Matter groups cannot even distinguish between the basic concepts of “case-by-case bullying” and “institutionalized persecution”. On the one hand, this is the result of the economic imbalance caused by globalization since Clinton, and the resentment of the underclass who have lost their economic independence. On the other hand, Obama opened the doors of the United States to allow some refugees who believe in extremism to enter the United States, ultimately filling the United States today with a trash population that grew up in backward regions of the world.
After Biden came to power, the quality of the future American group will only become worse. Not to mention compared with Japan and Hong Kong, it is far worse than China. Globalization not only bleeds the U.S. economically, but also makes the quality of the U.S. population much lower. If one day the dollar monopoly is broken, the United States will no longer be the United States, but will become North Mexico. Any system cannot be separated from the people who operate it. The system is good or bad, and is only comparable for the same people in the same era. For example, today’s Hong Kong, if the implementation of democracy, of course, will be much better than the current system of this kind. But if it were replaced by Somalia, it would be a paradise system, and it would still be a pirate paradise.
I say this very politically incorrect, but what is the use of political correctness except to intimidate and make people afraid to speak the truth? Europe and the United States politically correct for decades, but society is getting worse. So, look at the reality of it: society then to achieve legal equality for all, but also impossible to make everyone the same! The genes of individuals, the Culture they received, the Education they received, make each person unique. And this difference, of course, reflects the level of quality. Churchill said that democracies are the most difficult form of government to manage. Who is it that governs a democratic government? The people as a whole. So this election in the United States is not the goblet of democracy, but the goblet of the quality of the American people. This election in the United States only tells us the fact that the quality of the population has decreased, Washington to become president is also bullshit. So what is wrong with democracy? It is a man-made disaster!
