Families of those killed in the epidemic demand interviews with WHO: Don’t cover up crimes for the Chinese Communist Party

More than a year after the outbreak of the Epidemic, a WHO expert mission was finally allowed to enter China to investigate, and Zhang Hai, a Family member of a victim of the epidemic, requested an interview with the WHO. He expressed his hope that the WHO experts would not become a tool to spread lies or come to China to cover up the authorities’ crimes.

The Chinese government has not indicated whether the WHO experts will be able to collect evidence or talk to the relatives, who are currently only allowed to exchange views with Chinese scientists. Zhang Hai, a Wuhan resident who lives in Shenzhen, told the Associated Press that his father died of a Chinese Communist virus on Feb. 1 last year, and called on the WHO experts who visited Wuhan to meet and talk with relatives of the deceased.

Zhang Hai revealed that he has been organizing relatives of patients to file a lawsuit against Wuhan authorities to hold them accountable, as they are angry with Wuhan authorities for downplaying the outbreak at the beginning of the epidemic. In addition to dismissing the lawsuit, he threatened, interrogated, and even blocked the relatives’ chat groups.

Zhang Hai alleges that the Wuhan government tried to silence them, which is why they wanted to meet with the WHO experts. He hopes that the WHO experts will not be used as a tool to spread lies and will not go to China to cover up the authorities’ crimes.

Zhang Hai stressed that even if the platform is blocked, they will still convey their determination through the media, “We are always looking for the truth.

Speaking to Radio Free Asia, Zhang Hai said he hoped that the Wuhan government would meet the WHO experts together with the families. He also wants to ask these experts from WHO if they dare to meet the families and listen to the families talk about their terrible experiences during that Time.

He said that the people of Wuhan became victims at the cost of their lives because of the virus outbreak. If WHO is afraid to meet these families, then WHO is fooling people all over the world by coming to Wuhan to conduct an investigation.

He hoped that the people of WHO would not be disturbed by the outside world and would keep their hearts and minds on the facts. Because so far, the local government of Wuhan has not admitted its criminal act of concealment, and has not even taken up the minimum responsibility, daring to do something, and then even cunningly defending afterwards. If the WHO experts are also telling lies with their conscience, it is a great insult to the deceased.

Zhang Hai also said he does not think highly of WHO, which he considers a bureaucratic body. In his mind, such a worldwide organization should have independence and should not be subject to outside interference.

He was particularly amused when a WHO expert in Wuhan gave an interview to the media, saying that the Chinese Communist virus might have come from Southeast Asia. He hoped these experts would not tell lies in good conscience. He wanted to meet with the WHO people to remind them that they should respect Life, and that momentary falsification and telling lies cannot stand the test of time.

Keiji Fukuda, a professor at the University of Hong Kong‘s School of Public health, also called the WHO visit an “image-building mission,” meaning that the Chinese Communist Party wanted to show a transparent approach to the investigation, while the WHO was showing that it was taking action.
