Fauci, now 80, raked in $417,608 in 2019, the latest year for which data is available, according to the Mid-America Express, according to Forbes. Fauci will earn $2.5 million from 2019 to 2024 if he continues to serve as President Biden‘s chief medical adviser. And that doesn’t even take into account any pay raises he may receive during that Time.
According to the news outlet, which cited data collected by OpenTheBooks.com through a Freedom of Information Act request, the top U.S. infectious disease expert will be paid $3.6 million between 2010 and 2019.
Since 2014, his salary has increased from $335,000 to the current $417,608, which is $17,608 more than the president’s salary, according to Forbes.
