800 people! U.S. Justice Department is considering not prosecuting Trump supporters who nonviolently stormed the Capitol

U.S. media outlet Gateway Pundit reported Sunday (Jan. 24) that the U.S. Justice Department is debating whether to charge Trump supporters who entered the Capitol on Jan. 6 with a crime.

About 800 people were inside the Capitol at the Time and simply broke into the building without any violence. These people were not armed, and the hundreds of people were let in by Capitol police.

On January 6, 2020, just as President Trump was speaking on the Oval Lawn of the White House, Vice President Pence announced at the Capitol that he would ignore the crimes involved in the 2020 election. At about the same moment, members of the far-left Antifa and Boogaloo Bois showed up in front of the Capitol and began confronting Capitol police. The leftist crowd managed to storm the U.S. Capitol, and the police allowed hundreds of Trump supporters to enter the building. The police were witnessed opening the doors of the Capitol to the huge crowd outside the doors, and numerous Trump supporters thus, entered the Capitol after the violent protesters. At this point, Capitol police began pepper spraying without warning and began shooting flashbangs and tear gas into the crowd.

Four Trump supporters were killed during the storming of the Capitol, including an unarmed veteran who was shot and killed by a still unnamed Capitol police officer. The other four dead Americans, whose specifics are not being made public at this time, include a Capitol police officer who died that day.

Now, it’s clear to see that Antifa militants entered the Capitol to cause damage and are celebrating violence there. The Gateway Pundit says there were CNN reporters with Antifa members who were running amok in the Capitol.

The Gateway Pundit commented that by charging hundreds of protesters, the Justice Department really set an example for the American people. Many of the protesters were let in, probably unaware that what they were doing was illegal. The mainstream media also continues to compare storming the Capitol to a terrorist attack.
