U.S. media outlet Breitbart News reported on Jan. 23 that Dr. Anthony Fauci said at a White House press briefing on Thursday (Jan. 21) that he felt more freedom to talk about the Wuhan virus in the Biden regime than under Trump.
New York Times reporter Michael Scheer asked Fauci to share his sentimental thoughts on the change in administration and spoke about the development of the Wuhan virus. Fauci said, “Under Biden, you can say what you know about the evidence, what the science says, and allow the science to speak. In a way, that can be a liberating feeling.” While Sher thought Forsythe was joking, Forsythe laughed and said, “I’m very serious.”
Fauci said he wasn’t making fun of President Trump, but simply said he felt relieved to be able to speak like a scientist. He added that it was nice not to have to always disagree with the president on scientific issues. “Obviously, there’s been talk of hydroxychloroquine and things like that, and it’s really uncomfortable because they’re not based on science.”
