Senator Rubio: Biden’s far-left policies are bad for America

Florida U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), who earlier acknowledged Biden‘s election victory, said Friday, Jan. 22, that while Biden speaks in centrist rhetoric, he is introducing far-left policies that are bad for America and the American people.

Rubio posted a video on his Twitter account Friday alleging that while Biden talks about uniting America’s left and right wings and appears to be a centrist, he is introducing far-left policies. Such policies are bad for America and bad for the American people, especially the American working class, and will cause many blue-collar workers to lose their jobs.

Rubio said in the video that Biden has issued more executive orders than any other president in the first two days after he was sworn in, but these executive orders are not normal executive orders.

Biden has issued more than 20 executive orders since his inauguration, including a 100-day moratorium on deportations of illegal immigrants starting Jan. 22 and shutting down energy programs introduced by the Trump administration.

Rubio said, “Literally, these executive orders are a wish list for the far left.” He cited that Biden’s freeze on deportation orders for illegal immigrants essentially provides asylum for felons in the U.S. released before Jan. 19 so they will not be deported as originally planned, while the Biden Administration‘s shutdown of energy programs could result in a large number of blue-collar American workers losing their jobs.

Rubio then warned that Biden’s far-left policies would fail to unite an America already divided by communism. He wrote, “Such an approach would only confirm the greatest fears of 75 million Americans about the new administration.”

Rubio has been a consistent critic of Biden and his cabinet nominees, so Democrats don’t like him. He was also an early Republican to acknowledge Biden’s election victory and was criticized by President Trump’s supporters for it, which also created problems for his 2022 re-election bid.

Florida Democrats have publicly announced that they want to “retire Rubio,” and Florida Republicans are beginning to consider supporting other Florida candidates, such as Trump’s oldest daughter Ivanka, who is preparing to run in the 2022 midterm elections, instead of supporting him.
