However, three years later, while on bail, Sun Xiaoguo raped four underage girls, one of whom was a young girl, with violence and coercion from April to June 1997. His behavior constituted the crime of rape and committed several aggravating circumstances such as unlawful restriction of the victim’s personal freedom, recidivism of rape, and rape of a minor.
On July 13 and October 22 of the same year, Sun Xiaoguo, together with others, chased, intercepted and beat others in public places, causing injuries to three victims, which constitutes the crime of provocation and nuisance.
On November 7 of the same year, Sun Xiaoguo and his accomplices held two 17-year-old girls hostage in a public place to carry out violent injury and humiliation, resulting in serious injury to one person, which constitutes the crime of forced insult to women and intentional injury. In November of the same year, he committed the crime of rape, forced insult to women, intentional injury, and provocation and nuisance.
In February 1998, the Kunming Intermediate Court decided to execute Sun Xiaoguo for several crimes and to deprive him of his political rights for Life.

In mid-March 2019, Kunming’s political and legal authorities found the suspect Sun Xiaoguo to be a death row inmate during a deliberate assault case. The incident sparked a high degree of media attention.
The latest feature film on Sun Xiaoguo’s bizarre “resurrection from the dead”, Sun Xiaoguo’s mother, Sun Heyu, appeared on camera and said: “It’s very contradictory and hate him, you say it’s impossible not to hurt him, but always want him (punished) to be a little lighter, there is coddling in it, this is my problem. Sun He-Yu also said: Li Qiaozhong happy to help friends, so he found a friend to do things, that is also very smooth, “alas, actually really sorry for him, to his harm.”
For dragging relations to fish for people, Li Qiaozhong said, “he (Sun Xiaoguo) is his mother was born, his mother is my wife, as his stepfather, his mother raised this thing, is certainly looking for acquaintances, better talk, better accommodation.”
The investigation team retrieved the records of Sun Xiaoguo during his sentence to check, and found that a number of prison managers at the direction of the leadership of disciplinary violations, giving Sun Xiaoguo abnormal special treatment, Sun every month assessment is full marks, so successive reductions in sentence.

According to public opinion statistics, Sun Xiaoguo’s case involved as many as 25 direct protectors, including two vice presidents of the high court, and a number of senior officials at the departmental level and covering the public, prosecution, law and justice (prison system) multiple departments.
The official said that the then president of the Supreme Court of Yunnan Province, Sun Xiaohong was involved in Sun’s case, and Sun Xiaohong was previously identified by netizens as Sun Xiaoguo’s uncle. 19 people involved in the Sun Xiaoguo case were sentenced on December 15, 2019, including Sun Xiaoguo’s stepfather and mother were sentenced to 19 years and 20 years, respectively.
