American mother who lost her beloved son: Biden’s immigration order defies legal immigration

Hungarian immigrant Agnes Gibboney said in an interview with U.S. media Thursday (Jan. 21) that President Biden‘s immigration order, which halts all deportations at the U.S. border for the next 100 days, is a disregard for every legal immigrant in the United States.

Gibboni was interviewed Thursday on Fox’s “The Ingraham Angle. Her son, Ronald da Silva, was shot and killed by an illegal immigrant in 2002.

Gibboni: Biden’s policies make legal immigrants second-class citizens

Gibboni said she herself immigrated to the United States legally from Hungary. The practical effect of Biden’s immigration order is that “we are no longer (U.S.) citizens. We are second-class citizens, and that’s a shame.”

“As a legal immigrant, I feel that this administration is treating every legal immigrant in the United States with contempt. As of Jan. 20, the United States officially became the socialist United States of America. We (legal immigrants) are no longer citizens, we are second-class citizens, and that is a disgrace.” Gibboni said.

“In this country, we are facing problems with the coronavirus (Chinese communist virus) Epidemic. We need funds to help our country (get through it), but not to allow thousands of people (illegal immigrants) who cannot contribute to enter our country.” Gibboni said, “This will be a burden on (American) taxpayers. Our taxes will go up to provide for them. It’s not right.”

Gibboni also said she thinks about her dead son every day. “It’s his 49th birthday next Thursday …… I’m celebrating his birthday at the cemetery.”

She said no mother or father should have to face such a spectacle, going to a cemetery and stroking the cold stones in the ground to celebrate their child’s Life. “He (Gibboni’s son) should be here right now, and I can hug him. He can also say ‘Happy Mother’s Day’ to me. I buried my son the week before Mother’s Day. Is there anyone in Congress, does anyone care about that?”

“We went to Pelosi’s office. I left a picture of my son’s grave. I left my cell phone (number), my e-mail. I said, ‘Will you please call me?’ Do you think she called me? No, I don’t have a representative in Congress (to speak for me), none of us do. That’s the real truth. That’s a sad fact.”

Biden’s illegal immigration policies draw Republican condemnation

On the eve of Biden’s inauguration, a massive caravan of illegal Honduran immigrants began pushing toward the United States. One member of the caravan of illegal immigrants who left Honduras on Jan. 15 told The Hill that he was going to the United States because incoming President Joe Biden “gave us 100 days to get there.”

He appeared to be referring to one of Biden’s previous promises to ask U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to suspend deportations of illegal immigrants for 100 days.

“To get to the United States because they’re going to have a new president.” The Honduran immigrant interviewed said, “He (Biden) is going to help all of us, and he’s giving us 100 days to go to the U.S. so we can get legal status and have a better life for our children and our families.”

Biden also pledged to provide 11 million undocumented immigrants with a pathway to U.S. citizenship. Republican Senator Tom Cotton denounced, “Millions of Americans are without jobs. Yet Joe Biden wants to give legal status to millions of illegal immigrants, which will lower the wages of American workers and make it harder for them to find jobs.”

“President Biden wants to legalize 11 million illegal immigrants, and 7,000 to 8,000 Hondurans have formed a huge caravan to come to the United States where Biden supports illegal immigration.” Gingrich, a Republican and former Speaker of the House, said, “After the first 11 million [illegal immigrants are legalized], guess how many new illegal immigrants there will be by 2024?”
