President Trump and First Lady Melania leave Washington, D.C., on Air Force One on Jan. 20, 2021, for a new civilian Life at their Sea Lake estate in Florida.
According to Rasmussen Reports, President Trump received a 51 percent approval rating on his last day in office, one of only three polling firms with a track record of both legitimacy and accuracy. Trump’s disapproval rating was just 48 percent.
According to the American media Breitbart News (Breitbart News) on January 19, published columnist Nolte (John Nolte) in an opinion piece, there are many media surveys show that Trump’s approval rate is at 40% or even 30%. But in recent election cycles, “we’ve learned that these are almost always fake polls, rigged polls, polls that in no way reflect reality. We know this because the media polls are all wrong when the final vote is taken on Election Day. The whole purpose of media polls is to mislead, demoralize and deceive the American people into thinking that Trump is not as popular as he really is.”
According to Nauert, Rasmussen’s polls have proven reliable and accurate Time and time again, “which tells us that despite Trump’s clear calls for the crowd to respect (police enforcement) and remain peaceful, and even despite his almost immediate calls for an end to anarchy at the outset (which no Democrat has ever done), the insanity of the Capitol Hill riots and Big Media’s determination to do so blamed on Trump, but did not sway the general electorate.”
Nauert questioned, “People don’t trust the media, they don’t listen to the media, so why do they do it? Because for almost a decade, the media has lied about everything.”
“So basically, all this unfounded left-wing hysteria has had no effect on the population outside of the big media bubble, even though the hysteria has spread to the point where it’s so ubiquitous that we now have to see a military shutdown of the Washington, D.C., show, which includes fences covered with barbed wire. All of this was done to deceive people into believing that Trump supporters were somehow dangerous to Joe Biden‘s inauguration. Biden’s inauguration is somehow dangerous. But there is no evidence that (they) posed any threat to the inauguration.”
Nauert went on to write, “And, in this particular poll, Trump’s job approval rating has actually increased since the Capitol Hill riots. it was 47 percent on Jan. 7 and now stands at 51 percent, a four-point increase in support.
Since Wednesday (Jan. 20) is Trump’s last day in office, this is Rasmussen’s final daily tracking poll of his approval rating.
