U.S. President Donald Trump (Trump) arrives in Florida on Jan. 20, 2021, as his supporters lined the streets to welcome him.
On Wednesday (Jan. 20), Joe Biden was sworn in as the 46th president of the United States. President Donald Trump flew from Washington, D.C. to South Florida and was greeted by supporters as he landed.
The Trumps landed at Palm Beach International Airport before 11 a.m. on a special plane and then headed to the Mar-a-Lago resort. Previously, Trump had revealed that he would choose to live here once he left the White House.

On that day, Trump supporters lined the streets, some from Florida. They came to express their gratitude to Trump, who is returning from office.

Willie Guardiola, who was in charge of organizing Wednesday’s welcome, told NBC (NBC affiliate WPTV-TV), “I don’t want to believe this is going to be his last day [in office].”

Guardiola called the congressional riots “despicable” and said the Republican Party needs to be reshuffled. He added, however, that he was here Wednesday to show his support for Trump.
