The 46th President of the United States, Joe Biden, was formally inaugurated on Capitol Hill, but as Biden was delivering his inaugural address, China Central Television (CCTV) released a newsflash that a Foreign Ministry spokesman announced sanctions against 28 U.S. politicians who have been “anti-China” for the past four years, barring them from entering Hong Kong, China, and Macau, and prohibiting their private businesses from doing business with China. The 28 people include those who have also left office. The government has also announced that it is going to take the initiative to establish a new government.
