Leftists go viral with incitement video, call for ‘army of citizen detectives’ to spy on and spy on Trump supporters

Breitbart News reported on January 19 that Don Winslow, an American novelist and left-wing activist and anti-Trump commentator, recently produced a two-minute video calling on citizens to become online citizen detectives to spy on and inform on Trump supporters. Winslow also compared the work of “citizen” cyber-sleuths to the task of capturing al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden.

The video begins by claiming, “On January 20, Donald Trump will become commander-in-chief of the new Trump Army, the “radical” conservatives who live in the crowd, also known as domestic terrorists. They may be your children’s teachers, they may work in supermarkets, shopping malls, doctors’ offices, and many are police officers and soldiers. “

The video then claims that in the coming years, Trump will lead his army of domestic terrorists, encouraging and inciting violence, and that we must fight back against this. “

The video continues the propaganda by saying, “In the new war, the battlefield has changed and computers are more valuable than guns, so we need citizens to be detectives now more than ever. I propose to form a national army, using computers and cell phones as weapons, to spy on these extremists on the Internet and report them to the authorities.”

Outrageously, the video equates spying on and snitching on Trump supporters with finding and capturing the terrorist Osama bin Laden. The video says, “Keep in mind that it was CIA analysts working on computers thousands of miles away who first discovered bin Laden before the Navy SEALs killed him.”

Winslow also continued the incitement in the tweet, “I’m calling for an army of citizen detectives to fight back against the new Trump army of white supremacy. Will you join? Will you come and spread the word? “

The video is said to have been viewed 3.5 million times.

In another tweet, Winslow wrote, “No one from the new Trump Army should get a pass.” He also clarified that the “New Trump Army” includes Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Texas) and Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Texas). “

Leftist Dr. Dena Grayson, a former Florida congressional candidate, supported Winslow’s call, writing, “After Jan. 20, Trump will no longer be president of the United States, he will be escorted out of the White House and lose control of the U.S. military. But he will still be leading a group of violent agitators. Arrest these traitors!”

Fake conservative Fred Wellman, a senior adviser for veterans affairs in the anti-Trump Lincoln Project, also raised his arms to turn in “insurgents and racists. Wellman wrote, “Don Winslow is right. It’s up to us. You love America, fight for it! We cannot let these insurgents and racists take America from us. Turn them in. Fight for our democracy.”

Anti-Trump radical Majid M. Padellan, aka Brooklyn Dad Defiant, who has 840,000 Twitter followers, is the strongest supporter of this leftist citizen detective agitprop program.

“The new Trump army is evil. We know who they are,” Brooklyn Dad wrote, “They are our teachers. They are our neighbors. They are our police. They are everywhere. Expose them for the treason they are!”

However, not all of them are praising the incendiary video. Podcast host Bret Weinstein wrote, “This diabolical video portrays thousands of citizens as terrorists who are disloyal to their country, and the video’s producers clearly hope to provoke the masses to fight the masses.” He added, “I stand with all patriots against this madness. “

Producer and director Robby Starbuck responded to the Winslow video by saying, “This is so dangerous, it’s hard to summarize in a tweet. The video targets every conservative, calls for war and propagates the need to form a whistle-blower group and turn on your neighbors. If Hitler or Stalin were alive today, they would be proud to use your video. It’s sick and evil.”

The idea of linking Trump supporters to terrorism is nothing new to the Winslow crowd. Already last week, U.S. Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) said in a PBS report on impeachment that President Trump inspires his supporters in the same way the late terrorist leader Osama bin Laden did.
