The case of Wu Deren, a man from Heilongjiang Province, who stabbed Judge Hao Jian to death, opened in the morning of January 18 at the Heilongjiang Forestry District Intermediate Court. Wu Deren was sentenced to death for the crime of intentional homicide, with civil compensation of RMB 650,000.

Wu Deren appealed, during which he repeatedly found Hao Jian, objected to the part of the division of property, and asked for the property certificate of his residence retained by the court. Hao Jian told him that the real estate certificate could only be returned after the second trial was over.
On November 13, Wu Deren brought a boning knife and again found Hao Jian to ask for the real estate license. At that time, Hao Jian was attending the trial of other cases. During the recess, Wu Deren entered the courtroom with a knife and stabbed Hao Jian to death. Police officers arrived at the scene and arrested Wu Deren on the spot. The company confessed to the crime.
The two people were granted a divorce, but it was not expected that the man Wu was quite dissatisfied with this, after drinking and carrying a sharp knife to the courtroom theory, wounded each other and then stabbed a knife in the chest, was caught on the spot by public security officers, but the judge Hao surnamed due to injury to the pulmonary artery and excessive blood loss, and eventually died of resuscitation.

In mid-January this year, Zhou Chunmei, deputy head of the First Division of Trial Supervision at the Hunan Provincial High Court, was stabbed to death in his garage on January 12. The media said that the murderer was a fellow countryman, Xiang Mou, who killed Zhou Chunmei because he refused to help greet her. The case is considered unclear, and “attacks on judges are often triggered by dissatisfaction with the outcome of the case”.
