The FBI arrested John Sullivan, a core cadre of the Antifa movement, in Utah on Jan. 6 for allegedly posing as a Trump supporter, violently breaking into Congress, inciting violence and destroying federal property during a Jan. 6 clash at the Capitol, but he was released without bail the next day, sparking controversy over double standards in law enforcement.
According to court documents, Sullivan also shared the video to his YouTube and Twitter accounts under the pseudonym “Jayden X.” He also deleted the video before his arrest in an attempt to destroy evidence. Sullivan, who posed as a Trump supporter during the attack on Congress, said in the deleted videos, “We need to burn this shit building down,” “This is our asshole Congress,” and “We’re participating in this shit show. “.
Before his arrest he told mainstream media that he and the mob stormed the Capitol just to document the incident, and now he has been arrested for his alleged involvement in the attack on Congress.
In another video, an alleged CNN photojournalist, Jade Sacker, is also seen with Sullivan at the Capitol, according to the conservative website Gateway Pundit. Together, they cheer “We did it!” and enter the Capitol. and entered the Capitol.
Sacker later told The Associated Press that she had previously worked as a freelance contributor for financial media outlets CNBC and NPR, but was not a CNN employee. But after the congressional clash, Sack and Sullivan were interviewed together by CNN’s ace anchor Anderson Cooper.
Sullivan was killed by his own brother James (James Sullivan), who contacted the FBI to report Sullivan. But Sullivan was arrested on the 14th and released without bail on the 15th, and is currently under house arrest.
However, not every violent protester has been so lucky. Jacob Chansley, a protester for the right-wing conspiracy group QAnon, has been in custody without bail since his arrest.
In the CNN interview, Sullivan was identified as the founder of Insurgence USA, a left-wing group Sullivan founded in Utah.
In addition to being an Antifa cadre, Sullivan has publicly supported violent Black Lives Matter (BLM) activities, and his common social media hashtags include BLM, Antifa, and words that attack and insult President Trump.
While the FBI and mainstream media insist there is no evidence that BLM or Antifa played any role in the deadly mob that stormed the Capitol on the 6th, Sullivan admits in the film that he strategically wore a Trump hat and carried a “big ass camera” at the rally, disguising himself as a journalist to mislead law enforcement and the media about his true motives.
