The process of children growing up step by step, from small to big, is one of the most treasured treasures for parents. According to The Japanese media “withnews8”, a twitter user “Shingo” recently shared that he took a picture of his daughter worshipping at Hoya Temple in Nara in November 2016. It was autumn at the time, and the background was decorated with colorful red leaves.
In May of the following year, father and daughter visited the same temple again and took another picture of his daughter worshipping. The background had been changed to the lush green leaves of summer, and the father was surprised by his daughter’s growth as she moved from kindergarten to elementary school in the intervening six months, so he decided to continue to capture his daughter’s growth step by step, using the four seasons as a theme.
Finally, in April 2019 and January 2021, Shingo was able to take two photos of his daughter in the same place, in spring with cherry blossoms and in winter with snow. The process took five years, and my daughter went from a little girl in kindergarten to a young girl in the fourth grade of elementary school.
