President Trump has been blamed for the storming of the Capitol last Wednesday (Jan. 6), but U.S. media outlet Gateway Pundit said Jan. 13 that the FBI confirmed that the attack was planned days earlier. Investigative journalist John Solomon (John Solomon) said the FBI, the New York City Police Department (NYPD) and the U.S. Capitol Police authorities (USCP), all knew in advance of the violent plan to storm the Capitol, including information about the threat to kill police officers. If this was a planned attack, how can Congress still accuse President Trump of inciting a spontaneous attack? What did Pelosi and McConnell know about the planned storming of the Capitol before the House condemned President Trump for inciting violence?
Solomon also broke the news later that day that he requested records related to the Capitol storming investigation from authorities under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act, however, D.C. police authorities denied the lawful request. The D.C. police said releasing the records would be “embarrassing” and an invasion of privacy. The Gateway Pundit said it will continue to fight to obtain the documents.
Investigative reporter Solomon told former Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens, “Something tells me that there is something in these documents that is very, very relevant to the storming of the Capitol. My question is, what did Pelosi know about this? What does McConnell know about these threats?”
John Solomon also said that inside sources leaked maps and internal documents that helped the mob enter and navigate the Capitol. U.S. prosecutors are bringing a conspiracy case that provides further evidence that the siege of the Capitol was planned in advance.
Video of investigative journalist Solomon’s interview with Real America’s Voice has been uploaded on and former Missouri Governor Eric Greitens’ tube-channel.
