Snap announces permanent suspension of President Trump’s account

A spokesperson for social media company Snap said in a statement today that the company will permanently disable the multimedia messaging App Snapchat account of U.S. President Donald Trump.

A statement from YouTube, Google‘s video platform, said yesterday that it had removed new content from Trump’s channel because it violated the platform’s policy against inciting violence, and that the ban could be extended.
