According to land media reports, the propaganda department of Gaocheng District Party Committee told the media yesterday that it received instructions from the higher level to isolate and observe all 20,000 villagers in 12 villages in Zengcun Township.
This evening Beijing time, Mr. Zeng (a pseudonym), a villager from Nanqiaozhai village in Zengcun town, told Voice of Hope that he was isolated in a hotel in Shijiazhuang city. “We arrived yesterday” and “we are in a hotel in the city, one person to a room.”
