Why Acting Secretary of Homeland Security Resigned Monday, Condemned by Democrats

Acting Secretary of Homeland Security Chad Wolf resigned Monday (Jan. 11), effective 11:59 p.m. Monday.

Pete Gaynor, director of the department’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), will replace Wolf as the new acting secretary.

In his resignation statement, Wolf wrote that he had intended to remain in office until the end of his tenure in the current administration, but recent events have led him to decide to resign now.

“Unfortunately, recent events, including a meaningless court ruling on the validity of my authority as acting minister, have led to the action (of my resignation).” Wolf said, “These events and concerns have increasingly diverted attention and resources – away from the important work of the Department of Homeland Security during this critical period of the transition of power.”

Wolf’s resignation letter made no mention of the violence that occurred in Congress last week. Wolf served as acting secretary for 14 months; his tenure was marked by multiple lawsuits launched in court by Democratic groups against the Trump administration’s immigration actions.

Navarro: Trump Wants to Defend Himself on New Impeachment

President Trump is eager to defend himself against new impeachment by Democrats, White House National Trade Council Director Peter Navarro said Monday, Jan. 11.

In an interview with Bannon’s “War Room,” Navarro said, “The president is just defending himself on this issue, and we have the evidence.” He added, “Go ahead, because we have the evidence.”

Navarro did not elaborate on the specific response Trump will make.

Democrats on Monday issued a resolution accusing Trump of “sedition” by holding him responsible for the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol by protesters. In a speech that day, Trump called on supporters to go to the Capitol, but stressed that they should remain peaceful.

Navarro said a second effort to impeach Trump “just opened a huge door.” “They overplayed it. They always overplay it. It’s going to kind of hit them.”

Democrats have been trying to pressure Vice President Mike Pence and the Cabinet to pass the 25th Amendment to remove Trump from the presidency. On Monday, the Republican House blocked a resolution that would have called on Pence to invoke the 25th Amendment to assume the presidency.

The giant’s naked treason can now lead to one conclusion

Pro-democracy leader Tang Baiqiao (@realtangbaiqiao) said: Facebook had to admit to sharing Facebook users’ information with Chinese Communist company huawei! This is blatant treason! Every Facebook user can sue it for leaking private information to the public, especially to human rights villains, the Chinese Communist Party. How many Chinese people are persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party because Facebook leaked private information to the Chinese Communist Party! This is a debt that must be settled!

Netizen Qi Yu (@newqiyu) renamed Trump as Chuangpu, the creative Trump. He said.

Chuangpu wanted to block WeChat, the court overruled, and

He said: “Trump wanted to block WeChat, the court vetoed it, and Trump wanted to block Jitterbug, and the court vetoed it.

Facebook and Twitter all blocked Trump together, where did the court go?

If everyone is not equal before the law, democracy is an empty phrase!

There are also netizens saying that someone was thrown off a plane by Delta Airlines because they were found to be a Trump supporter on the plane, a singer was released from his record label’s contract for supporting Trump, and social media Parler was taken down for allowing Trump to sound off. Americans were once free to call out any president, but Trump has become the first president who can only call out but not support, which has never happened in any other country, and free America has brought freedom into disrepute.

Netizen xiadandan10 pointed out: the U.S. presidential election only came to a conclusion, that is, the system theory can end, human nature theory over the system theory, if human nature becomes bad, what good system is useless. Humanity is the most important.
