Jake Angeli, the “Viking” who was recently charged by the Justice Department with “violence and wrongdoing at the Capitol,” has been described by the mainstream media as a strong Trump supporter, but the National Pulse broke the story on January 12 that Angeli had previously participated in climate change protests in Arizona, which is absolutely contrary to the Trump camp’s agenda.
The Arizona Republic (AZCentral) reported on Friday, September 20, 2019, that Angeli participated in “a march in Arizona of hundreds of people in solidarity with the climate change walkout.”
A caption under the image of Angeli’s passionate participation in the protest states, “Shamanic practitioner Angeli gathers to chant before climate action organizers across Arizona begin a walkout march to the Arizona State Capitol on Friday, Sept. 20, 2019.”
As you can see in the photo below, Angeli was agitating for a demonstration with the slogan “The icecaps are melting.”
The organizers of the climate change strike outlined the goals of the climate change movement in a CNN column, and National Pulse found that the group’s advocacy is hardly different from the agenda of far-left Democratic U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortes (D-CA).
More seriously, the strike’s top dog, Strike With Us, has worked extensively with many leftist advocacy groups, including Black Lives Matter of Greater New York, Women’s March, Progressive Democrats of America, New Progressive Coalition, MoveOn, and others.
