Idaho-based Internet provider T1 WIFI said it will no longer serve Facebook and Twitter after a major purge of conservatives on so-called “mainstream” social media such as Twitter and Facebook this week.
The company issued a statement saying, “Our company does not believe that a website or social networking site has the power to censor what you see and post and hide information from you, preventing you from seeing what your friends and family post. That’s why, after a great deal of concern, we made this decision to block these two sites from being accessed through our network. “
