On Monday, Democrats proposed two plans for the removal and impeachment of President Trump (Trump). Constitutionalists see this as a means of stigmatizing Trump and thus blocking the truth, exactly the same as the Chinese Communist Party’s strategy.
U.S. House Democrats introduced an impeachment resolution on January 11, accusing Trump of “inciting violence” against the backdrop of the January 6 storming of Congress and launching a second impeachment against President Trump during his term.
However, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has previously said that the Senate is currently in recess, unless all senators agree, the Senate will not start business until the 19th resumed. And Jan. 20 marks the end of Trump’s first term, which, based on the Senate’s consideration process for impeachment, means the Pelosi’s are proposing impeachment against a departing president.
Constitutionalist Paul Skousen: “There is no legal basis, there is no moral basis. These are public relations techniques, they are intent on stigmatizing President Trump, trying to discredit President Trump and his supporters, and it’s dirty politics, the same thing as the Communist Party’s practice of exerting influence in countries like China and Russia.”
There is widespread question as to why House Speaker Pelosi is proposing impeachment with only nine days left in Trump’s term. Pelosi said in an interview with CBS 60 Minutes that one of the reasons was to stop Trump from running again in the future.
Meanwhile, experts analyze that the Democratic camp, the leftist group after the regime transition, wants to block the way for people to question and challenge the election fraud due to the large amount of fraud and irregularities exposed in the 2020 election that have not been investigated.
Constitutionalist Paul Skousen: “They’re too afraid of Trump digging up the truth and showing it to Americans, and Trump needs more time to do that. Now that Biden is in power, he’s going to bury all this illegal election rigging to keep them in power. This is the anti-American mentality and they will use all illegal and immoral means to gain political power, which is exactly the model of the Communist Party of China and the Communist Party of Russia, and they use the same tactics.”
Also on Monday, the same day House Democrats introduced a bill asking Vice President Pence to invoke the 25th Amendment, convene and mobilize Cabinet members to remove President Trump from office on the grounds that Trump is no longer mentally fit to perform the duties of the presidency. However, the proposal could not receive unanimous consent in the House due to objections raised by Republican lawmakers Alex Mooney, Matt Rosendale, Scott Perry and Yvette Herrell. Democrats plan to vote on it in the House on Tuesday. Vice President Mike Pence has 24 hours to consider whether to accept it. House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) said the Democratic-controlled House will vote on impeachment this Wednesday if Pence rejects it, CNN reported.
