Atlanta Fed Bank President Bostic (Raphael Bostic) said he believes the Federal Reserve needs to see signals about the improving job market and inflation before tapering asset purchases, and he is open to starting to scale back asset purchases later this year.
He expects huge structural changes in the U.S. job market and said the outlook for the U.S. economic recovery is tied to the pace of vaccinations for the new crown pneumonia vaccine and also to consumer confidence.
