“At least 25 domestic terrorism investigations have been launched as a result of the attack on the Capitol,” Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy told him in a phone call, according to a transcript of a conversation given by House Armed Services Committee member Jason Crow, a Democrat.
The military confirmed to the Epoch Times that the statement was true.
Crowe said McCarthy told him the Pentagon was aware that “potential terrorists could pose a further threat” on the day of President-elect Joe Biden’s 20th inauguration and in the days leading up to it.
