On January 6, 2021, suspected Antifa members entered Congress disguised as Trump supporters.
The U.S. Congress shocking incident continues to ferment, and on the 8th, 15 intruders into the Capitol were charged by the Department of Justice, and many have been arrested. Video footage shows Capitol police opening up to let protesters in and leading them upstairs, raising suspicions.
The Department of Justice announced the indictment of 15 people, most of whom were charged with trespassing or violent and disorderly conduct in the Capitol area. Three of the charges are serious: Capitol Hill “wizard” Jake Angeli, Adam Johnson, who carried the speaker’s podium, and West Virginia Congressman Evans. Members of Congress from both parties have called for Evans to be fired.
Angeli, a 32-year-old Italian-American, was arrested recently. He is often recognizable at protests by wearing a plush cowl hat and face paint symbolizing the United States of America. On Jan. 6, Angeli entered the Capitol with an American flag in protest.
Johnson, from Florida, was photographed breaking into House Speaker Pelosi’s office that day, leaving a note and piggybacking off Pelosi’s speaker’s desk. Some users found that the speaker’s desk was put up for auction on eBay, with an asking price of $14,980. According to Professor Bridis, the man in the photo is Johnson, who voting records show has not voted once since he first registered in September 2002 and is not a registered Republican.
West Virginia state Rep. Derrick Evans (D) was accused of live-streaming from a restricted area of the building, and the FBI apprehended and transported Evans at a West Virginia house.
Richard Barnett of Arkansas, who has been arrested, is accused of breaking into Pelosi’s office on the 6th, sitting on Pelosi’s desk chair and putting his feet on the desk. Relevant photos have been circulated on the Internet.
In addition, the Justice Department said about 40 protesters were also arrested and charged in District of Columbia Superior Court, facing charges including trespassing in a congressional district, violating curfew and committing a gun-related crime.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has also created a wanted list for arrests and charges against the protesters involved.
Multiple Videos Show Police Letting Protesters Into Congress, Left Wingers Engage
According to official disclosures and video footage taken by witnesses, many of the protesters who stormed the Capitol on the 6th included Antifa, Black Lives Matter and left-wing opponents of President Trump.
The video posted on YouTube by John Sullivan, who was arrested on Jan. 7, shows him breaking into the Capitol with a group of people. He can be heard in the video encouraging others to break in and convincing Capitol Police to let the break-ins through several gates. It also reveals further details of the process that led to the shooting death of retired female soldier Ashley Babbitt.
The video shows Sullivan breaking into the Capitol in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 6 with a group of Trump supporters and others who may not be Trump supporters. He can be heard in the video encouraging others to break in and convincing Capitol police to abandon their posts to allow the intruders to pass through several gates. Before entering the Capitol, Sullivan says, “Let’s burn this (expletive).”
Sullivan became known as a left-winger after often participating in protests and riots related to the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement, which was started and organized by Marxists. In July, Sullivan was arrested in Utah and charged with rioting, threatening violence, and crimes arising from his involvement in the protests that led to the shooting death of a motorist.
On the evening of the 8th, investigative reporter Millie Weaver ran into Sullivan on the streets of Washington, D.C. He appeared to have been released. She heard him say on the phone that he had not been charged.
More video shows Capitol Police officers personally opening the Capitol gates to let protesters in that day, as well as officers leading protesters upstairs.
Video posted by OANN host Christina Bobb on Twitter on August 8 shows congressional security officers opening the doors from the inside that day and standing on each side of the doors to let protesters into the halls of Congress.
Another video shows a black police officer inside the Capitol berating protesters while leading them up to the second floor chamber.
Outside the Capitol, police greeted people as they rushed into the Capitol.
A witness from Pennsylvania said he heard a conversation between far-left “Antifa” elements masquerading as Trump supporters who were plotting how to disrupt the peaceful protest.
I heard them say they were going to stir things up, stir up emotions,” he said. These people looked bad, and I saw them break the windows of the Capitol. I stood behind them and listened to them talk about what they might do to make Trump supporters look bad.”
Australian federal lawmaker George Christensen criticized the U.S. left and the fake news media for their hypocrisy in smearing this legitimate protest as a “rebellion” and attempted “coup” just because a small group of protesters entered Congress, which has long avoided violent protests such as Antifa.
On the night of Jan. 6, Antifa wreaked havoc in downtown Portland, Wash. Since New Year’s Eve, the Black Lives Matter/Antifa (BLM/Antifa) has organized three riots with no arrests.
