The leftist media in the U.S. is overwhelmingly claiming that it was Trump supporters who broke into Congress on Jan. 6, but there is growing evidence that leftists were involved and instigated the event.
John Sullivan, a video producer and founder of a group called the Group for racial justice and police reform, posted a video on YouTube on Jan. 7.
The video shows Sullivan, along with a group of Trump supporters and others who may not be Trump supporters, breaking into the Capitol in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 6. He can be heard in the video encouraging others to break in and convincing Capitol police to abandon their posts to allow the intruders to pass through several gates.
The video also reveals further details about the circumstances that led to Ashley Babbitt’s shooting death. Babbitt, an Air Force veteran, was shot and killed by plainclothes officers inside the Capitol.
Sullivan was a well-known left-winger because of his frequent participation in protests and riots related to the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement, which is sponsored and organized by Marxists.
In addition, Sullivan was arrested in Utah in July of this year. The charges were for participating in a riot, threatening to use violence, and for crimes resulting from his involvement in the protests that led to the shooting death of a motorist.
As a protest organizer, John Sullivan said he saw the shooting, saw the gun, saw the smoke coming out of the gun,” police wrote in a statement, according to local Salt Lake City media outlet The Deseret News. But John did not condemn the attempted murder, nor did he try to stop it, nor did he assist the police in their investigation.”
In a Dec. 28 tweet, Sullivan said, “Armed revolution is the only way to effectively bring about change.”
In a Jan. 2 tweet, Sullivan wrote: “The (expletive) system – it’s time to destroy it once and for all. “Black Lives Matter Gui (# blm), Antifa (# antifa) Burn the (expletive) system down! Abolish capitalism! Abolish the police! All cops are (expletive) (# acab)! (expletive) Trump!”
Sullivan, who also uses the online moniker “Jayden x,” is the founder of Insurgence USA. The group claims to have been formed “in response to the tragedy of George Floyd in 2020. Floyd refers to an African-American man in Minnesota. He had taken a potentially lethal dose of fentanyl before his death and was later arrested while an officer was kneeling on his neck.
According to the group’s YouTube channel, Rebel Against America’s goal is to “empower and elevate the voices of Black and Native people” and “build local power so that communities can intervene in state and government police officer violence. of violence.”
In his video of the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol, Sullivan can be heard saying, “Let’s burn this (expletive),” before entering the Capitol.
In response to criticism on Twitter, Sullivan said he was only there to report and that his actions were “part of fitting in so I don’t get hit.”
However, the video shows that he had been actively trying to convince Capitol Police to let the intruders through, and encouraged them to move on.
Shortly after entering the building through a window with smashed glass, Sullivan walks down a hallway and then turns toward an entrance near the broken window, the video shows. A woman with a camera walks through the door and approaches him. He did not speak to her at that time, turned around and walked down the hallway again. He engaged the woman in conversation only a little later.
There seemed to be hundreds of intruders inside the Capitol, and they were wandering around.
At the end of the corridor, Sullivan turned right into another corridor. Several police officers were moving the crowd forward from two directions to prevent them from turning again. At the end of the corridor, there was another entrance where several police officers were guiding the crowd out of the Capitol.
When Sullivan reached the door, he refused to leave.
He said to one officer, “I’m just documenting the situation.”
The officer replied, “You have to do (the recording) from the outside. Come on, guys.”
The woman was seen following Sullivan.
He told the police officer, “They’re already inside, man. It’s like, you can’t stop anything from happening.”
The police managed to get a few more people out, after which it looked like the door was locked.
Sullivan managed to stay inside the building, arguing that he couldn’t get out through this entrance because it was blocked. The police tried to keep him and a small group of other people near the entrance and prevent them from entering the interior of the building. But for a moment, the crowd surged into the hallway, and Sullivan joined them.
They then rejoined the larger crowd inside the building, meandering through the building and making their way to the magnificent Capitol rotunda. This is a favorite tourist attraction with a circle of statues and paintings erected.
Sullivan could be heard reveling in the experience.
He said to another man, “I never thought we’d get here.”
The woman turned to Sullivan and said, “Now let me give you a hug. We made it. You were right. We made it.”
He replied, “Man, I was going to tell you. But I can’t say too much.”
A few seconds later, there seemed to be a brief break in the video.
The woman then said, “You didn’t record that, did you?”
He replied, “I’ll delete that (expletive), I mean, I didn’t record you.”
Then he entered another room.
Someone could be heard saying, “Don’t destroy the statue.”
He said, “I can respect that – well, people might burn it down, I don’t want to lie. So, maybe it’s too late now.”
A short time later, Sullivan and a group of other intruders reached the glass doors leading to the Speaker’s Hall. The narrow entrance was blocked with furniture from the other side.
Three police officers stood on the other side of the door, guarding the entrance. Some of them shouted at the guards. Sullivan began to persuade them.
“We want you to go home. I’m a journalist, and there are a lot of people here. It’s just that they’re going to push all the way out here. Brother, I’ve seen people get hurt out there. I don’t want to see you get hurt. We (expletive) will break out of the way …… Please, make a way for us. Let’s make a path. I want you to go home.”
Then the guards walked away.
Sullivan then shouted, “Go, go, let’s go, get this (expletive) done.”
The three thugs broke the window glass of the gate with kicks, a flagpole and a helmet.
Afterward, Sullivan suddenly shouted, “Yo! There’s a gun! There’s a gun! There’s a gun!” . His video shows a plainclothes guard with a handgun by the door frame to the left of the glass door. He was aiming at the door.
Another man also shouted, “Hey, he’s got a gun!”
The mob continued for a few more seconds, breaking two window panes.
Video taken by another person at the scene shows four other riot police officers wearing helmets and carrying rifles standing just a few feet from the door on the side of the crowd of intruders after the three previous guards had left. One of them was talking to a man in a black suit with a badge pinned to his collar.
A young woman, whose name is Ashli Babbitt, tries to climb into an empty window frame.
A guard on the other side of the door fired a shot, hitting her in the neck.
She collapsed on her back.
One of the riot police officers wearing a helmet immediately aimed his rifle at the door. It appeared that he was unsure at first who had fired the shot from the other side of the door. After that he quickly lowered his rifle and relaxed his firing position. It appears that he realized that the person who fired the shot was a colleague.
The police officers and some other people tried to help the woman.
The confusion intensified after that.
Sullivan repeated, “She’s dead, she’s dead.”
Babbitt was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead.
