Don’t believe

A small physical confrontation broke out in the U.S. Congress when a retired female soldier, Bob Byrd, who supported Trump, was shot and killed by police.

It was predictable that the Biden group’s leftist gumshoe would adopt an ex-officio double standard and smear the dead woman as a far-right activist.

Sure enough, the New York Times published an article, without a word of sympathy from a feminist and humane perspective, citing the facts of her life and politely telling readers that she was just a Trump supporter, that she believed in conspiracy theories, that she was a racist, and that she broke into Congress and broke the law in the first place and did not deserve to die.

Facebook and Twitter also hailed Bobbid’s death with many comments. The former criminal Vernoyd, who was killed by a white police officer on his knees in Minnesota – sorry, that Chinese translation makes me laugh every time – is not comparable to this white woman. The former represents human rights, the latter immoral. The martyr with the same name as the psychology guru, the black man whose life is more expensive to die, is heavier than a mountain, while the female veteran, the white woman whose life is cheaper than a feather, is lighter than a feather.

Of course, this kind of social media comments, a clear-headed person, can not be fully convinced that it is true, may be the hostile forces in the United States to open an empty pseudonym to spread, in order to provoke stupid Americans to infighting. But the management of Facebook and Twitter did not remove such hate messages and clearly expressed their position.

The world is waiting to see: If there is true human rights equality in the United States, the nation should start a protest and mourning for the death of Bob Reed on the same scale as the death of “Floyd”.

As for Congress, why is it so easy for the “mob” to break into the first democratic chamber in the West? According to leftist conspiracy theories and Chinese conspiracy theories, it should be Pence’s covert release, winking at the guards at the right time to lend his head to this patriotic woman fighter, otherwise why would he just hit a white woman with such a clean character record and a military record?

Almost all of the people jumping around in Congress are Viking-style Trump supporters with bullhorns and animal skins on their heads. An independent thinker, of course, would suspect that such beastly characters saying they support Trump might be extras hired by the Democrats to visually balance the ugly image of black-lifted thugs smashing glass windows and setting fires in the streets.

In the age of Facebook and Twitter disinformation, the world has to revisit Kitajima’s famous poem about post-Trump America, called “Answer”.

“I do not believe that the sky is blue, I do not believe in the echo of thunder, I do not believe that dreams are false, I do not believe in death without retribution. If the ocean is destined to break its banks, let all the bitter waters be poured into my heart. If the land is destined to rise, let mankind choose again the peak of existence. New turnings and shining stars are adorning the uncovered sky. Those are the hieroglyphs of five thousand years, those are the eyes of the future people gazing.”

This is good poetry, but the tone is too bitter. To change the philosophical perspective, it is good to view the fall of America with exultation and joyful disbelief.
