Nine people in Xi ‘an attended the wedding of Hebei people as close contacts
On Jan 4, 11 new cases of the local Chinese virus (Wuhan pneumonia, Covid-19) were confirmed in Shijiazhuang, Hebei province, where many people attended a wedding.
From the evening of January 4 to 5, nine people in Xi ‘an, Shaanxi Province, attended a wedding in Zhengding County, Hebei Province on December 28, 2020, according to an online report. The confirmed case in Hebei Province attended the same wedding. The nine people who have returned to Xi ‘an are confirmed as Class B close contacts.
More than 1,000 people have been quarantined in Xi ‘an
Later, officials from the Weiyang District health Bureau in Xi ‘an confirmed that the online information was true and that the epidemic prevention and control department had controlled thousands of people who had come into contact with the nine contacts.
According to a statement issued by the Xi ‘an epidemic prevention and control command department, seven of the nine, who attended a wedding in Zhengding County, Hebei Province on December 28, arrived at Anyuanmen Station on Line 2 at the entrance of the Xi ‘an North Railway Station at around 8 PM. The other two arrived at Xi ‘an North Railway Station on Dec. 29 and also took Line 2 to Anyuanmen Station at 7:50 p.m.
The report said 600 people were traveling in the same carriage of the subway as the nine people, and they acted as spies for the nine people, and they were quarantined and tested for nucleic acid.
A saleswoman surnamed Li in Yanta district of Xi ‘an takes Line 2 to and from work every day, including Dec. 28 and 29. Miss Li does not belong to the B 600 close friends, but she belongs to the C contacts.
The extent to which the party has used big data has surprised Ms Li
Li told reporters that after the New Year’s Day holiday, she was fine when she commuted to work on January 4, but at 1:04 a.m. she suddenly received a call from the epidemic prevention and control center.
“I thought he was a liar, too,” Ms. Li said. “He told me that we were getting from big data (your information), who was on your bus, what time you got on [Luo Shuyuan], you were Category C (contacts). He said everything right.”
“When he said that, I got really scared. It was really scary. I thought they were pretty fast.”
She said that after the man called her, she kept a note of his call, but when he added his WeChat, it was the real thing. Then her WeChat bar code turned red and she couldn’t go anywhere.
Ms. Li said that there were many people in the carriage she was sitting in, and they were quarantined, in accordance with the quarantine, because her community is in Yanta District, so she was quarantined to the Yanta District Jinsha International Hotel.
“I don’t want to hear the ambulance.”
“It was an ambulance that came to my neighborhood and pulled me away. I was well armed, and there were five people in my car,” Li said. “It was a real scene, and I felt carsick on the way because of the ambulance and the disinfectant.
“I’m category C, they’re in close contact, they’re category B. As far as I know, I haven’t been diagnosed yet, and if I’m diagnosed, I can’t sit here and talk to you.
“Now I hear the ambulance and I don’t want to hear it.”
Miss Li said she was a bit unlucky. Who knows who is sitting next to her on the subway? There are so many people in the subway. She is not the only one in her unit. There is another one in the same carriage. On the morning of the 4th, their supervisor was shocked. At that time, everyone immediately went for nucleic acid tests and the company paid for them.
Who pays for the quarantine?
Ms. Li said the hotel where she was quarantined was OK, with complete facilities. She came on the 4th, today is the fifth day, “I can’t stay my personality, stay I want to go crazy”.
Xi ‘an people have been isolated in the online disclosure, isolation costs themselves, hotel a day 300 yuan, 100 yuan a day for meals.
But Ms. Li said that the quarantine fee was at her own expense at the beginning, 100 yuan a day, including food and drink, she paid 1,900 yuan once she arrived at the hotel, 14 days, eat and stay all inclusive, including a 500 yuan deposit. But now the hotel has refunded her money. As for the others, she did not know.
