Mr. Wang, a former veteran mainland journalist, drove six days from California to Washington, D.C., to participate in a peaceful “Save the Republic” rally.
On Wednesday, January 6, the day the U.S. House and Senate held a joint session to confirm the president-elect, millions of Americans gathered in Washington, D.C., for a peaceful “Save the Republic” rally calling for “Stop the Steal” (Stop the Election). Steal. The White House, the Washington Monument and Capitol Hill were crowded with pro-Trump banners, and pro-Trump Chinese were everywhere, holding banners and wearing American flags from all over the United States.

Mr. Wang, a long-time veteran journalist in mainland China, made the long drive from California to Washington, D.C. to attend the rally. He wanted to show his support for justice and to oppose the infiltration of communism into the United States by his own actions.
Driving from California to Washington, D.C. in six days
“I came from California and drove myself for six days. Along the way, I went over the mountains, through the deserts in the west, the plains in the center and the virgin forests in the east, and saw the great potential of America.” Mr. Wang said it was the first time he drove so far and was impressed.
Because of the epidemic and the distance, Mr. Wang’s family advised him not to come to Washington DC, but he said, “I am an old journalist, I have been a journalist in China all my life, and I think I will not experience any big event in my life. But this U.S. election is a big event that affects the course of history all over the world. It is not simply a matter of Trump or Biden winning, nor is it simply a matter of the Democrats or Republicans winning, it is a matter of the future of the world, not just the United States, but also China. As a Chinese American, I am concerned about the future of the United States and the future of China. This is a struggle between darkness and light, and a struggle between good and evil. The world is faced with a choice: Do you want light or do you want darkness? Do you want good or evil to rule our world?”
Wang went on to say, “It is the honor of my life to stand under the Washington Monument, to stand in front of the Lincoln Memorial, in the capital of the United States, at such a great historical event, at such a juncture in history, and to be able to witness this great historical event. I have created many miracles in my career as a journalist, but the biggest miracle is this one: cheer for Trump! Cheer for the world! Cheer for China!”
Praising Chinese media with conscience
Mr. Wang, who has been a journalist in China all his life, said he cares a lot about Chinese media after coming to the United States. “Chinese self-publishing has developed rapidly in the last three years, but most of the small self-publishers are not professional,” Mr. Wang said, “Now I often watch Voice of Hope’s program. I especially admire Fang Wei’s show. I admire their sense of justice, which speaks the voice of our Chinese people and gives me hope. I cheer for Voice of Hope, and I would like to thank other self-publishers who have a sense of justice and are not tempted by money. Jiang Feng and Wen Zhao, they are the talents of China, the talents of the world, and I cheer for them too!”
Mr. Wang praised these Chinese self-publishers for “having justice, representing the voice of the people, speaking the truth, speaking the direction of the future, which is the true meaning of journalism”.
Chinese People Unite Against Communism
In the 2020 U.S. election, Chinese people have changed their past indifference and actively participated in opposing communist infiltration in the U.S., which makes Wang feel very happy. “We Chinese are particularly proud to be united and cohesive in this election. The Chinese are not as scattered and mountainous as they used to be, attacking each other. This time everyone has coalesced under a new banner, which is for Trump, for justice, and for the bright future we should have all over the world. Don’t let evil rule our future.”

“Communism is an idea, a theory, a goal. From the day it was born, people have been confused and deceived by this falsehood, and one of the greatest practices of human society in the past 100 years has proved that communism is false, a failure, and a destruction of humanity.” Mr. Wang said, “Americans do not understand that the communist banner that the Chinese Communist Party carries is actually a dictatorship and a dictatorship, a system that oppresses the people and makes them suffer and sacrifice countless things, and that is its core!”
