The tweets on Jan. 6 to suppress patriots were all from Blue Label certified accounts

Breitbart News (U.S.) reported on Jan. 6 that certified accounts on Twitter (those with blue label endorsements) sent out calls for retaliation in large numbers on the same day, calling for shots to be fired at Trump supporters.

In response to an inquiry from Breitbart News News, Twitter responded, “We will continue to enforce the rules, including the policy against threats of violence.”

“Please xx’s, shoot them all. Please,” said Rod Blackhurst, a director who has produced several films for Netflix. (The tweet has been removed)

Blogger and radio host Erick Erickson, who called Trump a “racist” and a “fascist” in 2016, said anyone who participated at the Capitol should be shot.

“Shoot the protesters. Waiving the rules. Impeach. Relax the rules and convict. Waive the rules and don’t let him run again,” Erickson said. He later deleted the tweet.
