It has been more than a year since the Wuhan pneumonia outbreak, but the Chinese Communist Party is still trying to dismiss the virus as coming from Wuhan, even dumping it on the United States, and the families of the Chinese victims have been unable to file a lawsuit against the government for underreporting the outbreak. Zhang Hai, a family member of a victim, said he would keep speaking out as an act of patriotism.
Recently, there have been outbreaks in many parts of China, but the reports always say that most were imported from outside the country. In this regard, Zhang Hai said that the Chinese Communist Party has been avoiding the issue of the source and the issue of accountability.
Zhang Hai: “If the local government in Wuhan and Hubei Province had not withheld information, it would have caused such serious consequences. The source is very important, now what other countries came in, has been avoiding the source of the problem, has been avoiding the issue of accountability. In particular, some people are very irresponsible to make some remarks, I am particularly angry.”
A spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry said last March that the epidemic may have been brought to Wuhan by the U.S. military, to which Zhang Hai, a family member of a Wuhan pneumonia victim, said that if you can’t get evidence, you can’t just dump the pot like that.
The company’s main business is to provide a wide range of products and services to the public.
In response to his father’s death from the epidemic, Zhang Hai sued the Wuhan government in June last year for nearly $2 million for concealing the epidemic, but the court did not file the case. He said that the more suppression, the more he has to speak out, which is a patriotic act.
Zhang Hai: “You can say, I can not say, I told the local officials in Wuhan City a long time ago, you dare to conceal the report, you dare to kill, I dare to say ……… Why I have been vocal, always pursued, I always believe that these so-called experts and authorities who publish inaccurate statements are the real harm to the country, I speak out is an act of patriotism.”
Zhang Hai also said that he does not believe the data reported by the media.
Zhang Hai: “Now the media reported the so-called found some sporadic epidemic, to the numbers, I will never believe, because through the new crown in Wuhan, I realize that many numbers will be seriously shrunk, since the lie has been told, I will never believe them again.”
A report released by the Communist Party’s CDC on Dec. 28 last year showed that the virus infected 4.43 percent of the Wuhan population in April last year, which estimated that nearly 500,000 people in Wuhan were infected, 10 times higher than the official figures released at the time.
