The Gateway Pundit reports, “We were unarmed, we were peaceful, and they started shooting at us.” Police attacked the protesters with pepper spray, tear gas and batons.
The protesters spoke with the Epoch Times this afternoon and claimed they were innocent, the report said. They said the police quickly became very violent.
President Trump earlier tweeted, ” Please support our Capitol Police and law enforcement officers who are truly on our country’s side. Keep the peace!”
“One woman shared that they were peaceful in the capital, but then the police became violent.
“We don’t have weapons. We were peaceful. They started shooting at us.” Protesters at today’s event in Washington.
Another protester saw police firing tear gas at protesters for no reason. They also beat people with sticks.
The Gateway Pundit says Americans want freedom and truth. They don’t want to be beaten by police for holding a peaceful protest.
