Vaccine expert: China’s national vaccine has 73 side effects and is the world’s least safe vaccine

Several Chinese biopharmaceutical companies have stepped up production of new vaccines to meet the widespread demand for vaccinations, but according to a Shanghai-based vaccine expert, China National Pharmaceutical Group lists a total of 73 local or systemic adverse reactions on its vaccines, making it “the world’s least safe vaccine.

China National Pharmaceutical Group, a state-owned company, said earlier that the vaccine produced by its affiliated Beijing Institute of Biological Products was 79 percent effective, according to a mid-term analysis of phase III trials. The Chinese government granted conditional marketing approval for the inactivated vaccine on Dec. 30 last year, making it the first 2019 coronavirus disease (Covid-19) vaccine to be approved for marketing in China.

But just as Beijing and Wuhan companies under Sinopharm, as well as Beijing Kexing Zhongwei Company, opened an accelerated mode to produce the new coronavirus vaccine capacity, Shanghai-based vaccine expert Tao Lina recently uploaded an electronic version of the Sinopharm vaccine’s instruction manual on her microblog. The manual shows the vaccine’s approval date of Dec. 30, 2020, with a list of adverse reactions in clinical trials.

On Wednesday (Jan. 6), Ming Pao reported that Taurina wrote on her Weibo account, “I took a breath of cold air after reading it. In addition to common pain and headache at the vaccination site, serious side effects such as hypertension, loss of vision, loss of taste and urinary incontinence may occur. Taurina also called the Chinese vaccine “the world’s least safe vaccine in one fell swoop.”

The postings were all removed by authorities by Tuesday evening because of the widespread attention they had generated in China.

According to online sources, Tao Lina, 43, has worked at the Shanghai Center for Disease Prevention since August 2000 and is responsible for vaccination management. He has been invited to answer questions about vaccines for his fans online. Last month, Beijing Business News interviewed him about the New Coronavirus vaccine.

According to an interview with Tao Lina by Hong Kong Wen Wei Po 2 years ago, Tao Lina, who graduated from Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University with a degree in public health and is a physician-in-charge of the Shanghai CDC on merit, and is also the @vaccineDoc Tao on Shake, has said that “public health is like life.

Sinopharm Zhongsheng Beijing’s New Crown vaccine was approved by the State Drug Administration for conditional marketing, giving the green light for mass vaccination in China. Along with Sinopharm Zhongsheng Wuhan and Beijing Kexing Zhongwei, whose inactivated vaccine has been approved for emergency use, the three companies have already begun vaccinating key groups.

Chinese authorities have moved forward to vaccinate 50 million Chinese by mid-February, when hundreds of millions of people are expected to travel during the Chinese New Year holiday.
