In response to the protests that erupted at the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday (Jan. 6), President Trump posted a video on Twitter telling his supporters to “go home” from Washington, D.C.

Trump said, “I know you’re hurting, you’re hurting. Our election was stolen, we won in a landslide, and everyone knows it, especially the other side. But you have to go home now, we have to have peace, we have to have law and order, we have to respect our great law and order abiding people, and we don’t want anyone to get hurt. “
President Trump said, “I know these are very hard times, never before have there been days when this happens, when they take all of that away from you, from me and from our country.”
President Trump had a meaningful quote when he said, “It was a fraudulent election, but we can’t be played by them, we have to have peace, so go home . We love you guys, you’re very special, you saw what happened, you saw how other people were treated, so bad, so evil. I know how you guys feel, go home, go home in peace.”
