The U.S. Congress will hold the confirmation of electoral votes for the presidential election on Jan. 6, local time. As the Republican incumbent Vice President Mike Pence will be the chairman of the joint session of Congress, Pence will be responsible for announcing the final results after the congressional confirmation is completed, so many Republicans hope that Pence can refuse to announce.

Trump wrote around 1 a.m. local time on June 6: “Many states want to undo the mistakes they made in verifying incorrect, even fraudulent (ballot) information, a process that was not approved by state legislatures (which would have been required). Mike (Pence) can knock them back.
To give Pence a little more ‘encouragement’, Trump has repeatedly called out Pence for help over the past few days. In the evening of the 4th of local time, Trump appeared in Dolton, Georgia to attend the electioneering rally when talking about the topic of overturning the election results, publicly called out to Pence hoping he could lend a helping hand.
