The conservative group Project Veritas revealed a recording Monday (Jan. 4) of the Central Outreach and Advocacy Center, a Georgia-based organization that provides thousands of homeless people with the same address to register to vote by mail.
The recording was revealed Monday evening by James O’Keefe, head of the Truth Project, who interviewed Kimberly Parker, executive director of the Central Outreach and Advocacy Center in Joe.
In the recording, Parker admitted that her organization registered thousands of homeless people in Fulton County, Joe, for mail-in ballots using the same address.
“Most of the people we serve don’t have an address, so we allow them to use our address if they register to vote and get a Joe State ID.” Parker said.
“We do allow them to use the address of 201 Washington Street (Atlanta, Georgia).” She continued, “I can’t even tell you how many people use that address on their ID cards.”
Parker also acknowledged that “we’ve been doing this for years,” “but we’ve never had any problems until this election.”
Adam Seeley, director of social services at Emmaus House and a board member of the Central Outreach and Advocacy Center in Joe, revealed in an interview that he knows of “thousands” of people who have registered for mail-in ballots at this address.
“The Truth Project notes that this raises serious questions about possible voter fraud in Georgia. Are the thousands of people who filled out the “201 Washington Street” address real Georgia residents?
Under Georgia law, a person must vote where he or she lives. Allowing someone to use a false statement when registering to vote is illegal and carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison.
About two hours after the Truth Project made the recording public, the Central Outreach and Advocacy Center deleted their Twitter account.
In a tweet, O’Keefe questioned: “The Joe State voter fraud (recording) released tonight reveals that they illegally registered thousands of homeless people in Atlanta to vote at the same address! What are they trying to hide? We’ve got it all on tape!”
