Joe State Secretary of State holds press conference, doesn’t say a word throughout, invites endorsements

Georgia officials are doing their best to help Democrat Joe Biden win the 2020 election, but Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger asked someone to speak for him at a news conference Monday (4) after leaking a call with President Trump and avoiding answering reporters’ questions.

After the leaked phone call between Trump and Raffensperger last weekend, the far-left Washington Post used the edited audio clip to publish a hit piece touting Trump’s demand that Raffensperger find the votes he needs to win the state.

A few days ago, Trump and his team have sued the Joe Secretary of State over a breach of confidentiality.

At 3 p.m. Monday, Laffensperger decided to hold a press conference at the Georgia State Capitol in Atlanta, but throughout, he did not make a single statement or offer an explanation for his misconduct.

The press conference lasted about 30 minutes, with Gabriel Sterling, executive manager of the Georgia Secretary of State’s office, speaking on his behalf throughout and answering questions from the news media.

Raffensperger was also asked a direct question by host Martha MacCallum during an interview on Fox News Channel’s “Your World” Monday afternoon. When asked if she was behind the leaked recording of her conversation with Trump, Laffensperger wouldn’t answer positively either.

MacCallum asked, “Did you agree to release the call? Did you say yes to, ‘Let’s release the recording of the phone call’?”

Raffensperger replied, “The information is there. And it is that.”

McCallum pressed further, “That’s not an answer to my question. Are you going to answer my question? Were you aware of the decision and did you approve of the decision to release the call, sir?”

Raffensperger remained defensive, saying he had to respond to the president’s tweets with the “facts” of the call.

McCallum concluded, “Okay, so that was clear, you knew it was going to be released, and you felt that was okay.”

McCallum also said she felt a deep resentment toward Trump from Raffensperger.

Trump is asking for a solution to illegal votes, not votes generated out of thin air in his favor. State Rep. Anthony Sabatini (D-Fla.) tweeted that he just finished listening to the full recording of Trump’s phone call with Raffensperger, which will be one of the biggest doozies ever created by the corrupt media since the Ukraine debacle, and as usual, it takes Trump’s words completely out of context.

Rumor has it that Raffensperger will face a Secret Service investigation.
