Amidst a wave of disparagement of Trump and praise for Biden in The Japanese mainstream media, more and more righteous people are beginning to face up to the reality of the U.S. election as some righteous media insist on reporting the truth and as people begin to pay attention to what some non-mainstream English-language media in the United States are reporting about the U.S. election. Professor Emeritus Rang Kimura of Kagoshima University recently wrote an article on this issue on his website.
Japanese Mainstream Media’s Distorted Coverage of the U.S. Election
On the question of how the Japanese mainstream media distorted the coverage of the U.S. election, Professor Kimura pointed out that after the U.S. election vote, as the mainstream media in the U.S., led by CNN, casually claimed that Biden had been elected despite the massive amount of election fraud in the election, the Japanese mainstream media, which always danced with the U.S. mainstream media, also claimed that Biden had been elected, thus creating the illusion that the election was the same as previous U.S. presidential elections and that there was no doubt that Biden had been elected.
Many Japanese mainstream media have been reporting on the so-called Biden’s move to form a new government and the so-called transfer of power. In response to Trump’s allegations of election fraud, they have accused him of not admitting defeat and supporting similar lawsuits, of “lacking the grace to admit defeat” and “refusing to readily admit defeat. Kimura pointed out that these reports are full of malicious words and an atmosphere of disgust towards Trump.
As for the numerous fraudulent facts that have been revealed and the accusations of “stealing Trump’s votes” that have been pointed out by the Trump camp, the Japanese mainstream media say that it is a “conspiracy theory without clear evidence” and counter accusations that the evidence of fraud is fake news. Thus, on the surface, it seems that those who stand up for justice have become a minority. The majority of the Japanese media seem to have stopped thinking after this influence, and simply relayed these reports without regard to the facts.
According to Kimura, the media created a false “reality” by ignoring the facts, and then reported the secondary facts in favor of it, so that the fictional “reality” gradually became the “reality” in people’s minds.
The Strange Election of Biden
Prof. Kimura said that his initial, very simple question about the U.S. election was that the difference between the predictions of the media before the election and the actual results was unbelievably large. The media predictions before the election were that Biden would win in a “landslide” and that these predictions would have a direct impact on the election. However, the election results are, despite the public opinion is so unfavorable to Trump, but even from the fraudulent voting results, Trump’s vote is also close to Biden. That’s because in general, it’s almost impossible. And in some states Trump also won over Biden.
In addition, the media’s predictions for the House and Senate election results are also very different from the media’s predictions. Because the media predicted that the House would win the majority of votes, while the Senate would certainly flip and make the Democrats gain a majority. However, the results of both were not consistent with the facts: the Democrats only had a slight advantage in the House, while the Senate was still dominated by the Republicans.
Another of Kimura’s questions about the election is that Biden’s vote was so high that one has to wonder about it. The number of votes received is almost impossible in light of the results of the House and Senate and Biden’s actual performance. Biden himself has little campaign activities, is the only few activities, participation is also very few, and Trump campaign activities with the scene is not comparable. Since Biden is not very popular, so where did he get so many votes from?
In addition, Kimura also raised a lot of questions, such as the far higher number of postal votes than in previous years, the bizarre and unnatural “Biden voting curve”, and the unusual performance of the media (ignoring the scandal of Biden’s son but pursuing Trump’s minor and unfounded issues, announcing Biden’s election without any basis and forcing a handover from the Trump administration).
The mainstream media has lost its impartiality and objectivity.
In summary, Prof. Kimura believes that the U.S. election has made people feel that the U.S. mainstream media, as a public instrument of society, has gone beyond its anti-Trump stance and made the media sick to the point of being the “enemy of democracy” and the “enemy of the state. “The media, as a public instrument, should have the right to behave as a public instrument. The media has lost its objectivity and neutrality as a public instrument, and has revealed its nature as a propaganda organ of the Democratic Party.
Kimura pointed out that the Japanese mainstream media, like the last presidential election in the U.S., did not conduct independent interviews and investigations, but merely relayed the reports of the U.S. mainstream media, which covered up the truth. Therefore, the reports of the Japanese mainstream media are no longer so-called “misinformation” but “intentional manipulation of information” and spreading of rumors. Kimura believes that the number of people in Japanese society who hold this view is not limited to a few.
In fact, Japanese citizens are aware of this, and many of them have held two demonstrations in Tokyo and Osaka in support of Trump and against the Japanese mainstream media’s distorted coverage of the U.S. election.
